Essie Nail Polish

Essie nail polish overall is 10/10 I absolutely recommend. In my opinion it's the best drugstore option and well worth the price. I just tried essie polish for the first time 2 months ago. I've been wearing acrylics for the last 8+ so I rarely payed attention to polishes at the store. I was only planning on letting my nails rest for a week or two but I was so amazed with how my nails looked after the first use , I decided to try and strengthen/grow out my natural nails. I've bought 11 different shades already and there's soooo many more I want!! The color options are EVERYTHING!! Dopest colors for sure !! The formula is perfect. You could definitely get away with doing just one coat. It's not even a little bit clumpy or hard to blend. The brush evenly coats each layer on so incredibly smooth. And conveniently dries super quick. I've been changing my color more often than normal but when left alone, it stays on for almost 2 weeks without chipping!!! Each polish contains a generous amount of polish. I did use an entire bottle of one of the colors but I was going back to that color every other day or so for both fingers and toes so I'd say 40 separate occasions at minimum 2 coats each. The only negative is that I don't have every single color yet!!!!! * Currently wearing "play date" and I've received so many compliments. It's not too dark but it isn't super light either. Its a beautiful color for both summer and fall. I'll definitely be using it the next few months.

Amazing Coverage

I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! Durable and easy! Dries slow

The Product: Light pink nail polish with sparkles (very shimmery, almost metallic) Dries in a couple of hours Relatively translucent (I applied two coats) What I Loved: The colour is very cute and glam. Id describe it as almost a rose gold Because of its translucence, it can be used as a second coat over another solid colour (I didnt do this, but I saw another Instagrammer put a layer of sold pink underneath, and it looked so good!) It lasted about 7 days before chipping. Now, 9 days later, only my thumbnail is chipped, and the rest is perfect! The consistency was perfect and allowed for an easy application. Perfect glittery shimmery nail polish that is super easy to apply, quick dry time and very long lasting! Salon quality, easy glide brush nail polish for quick and professional application for a flawless manicure! I usually never wear nail polish because they always take forever to dry and is super streaky but this definitely encourages me to wear nail polishes more because of the quick dry time and easy to apply! Excelent where is the true ballet slippers

So I bought the first ballet slipers that is on the left side. It was awful, striky, sticky and too thick. But then I knew something is wrong, because it should look sheer. So I decided to buy a new one and I opened every ballet slippers in store to see the texture. So in my opinion it looked that are other shades mixed in the same line within ballet slippers with the sticker that says ballet slippers. Since the new one I bought (on the right side) it’s absolutely AMAZING and now my favourite. It is possible that the sticker is not matching the nail polish. Because it was weird. 10 same names but shades in 4 of them looked different and also the texture. Not sure who is responsible for puting the stickers on nail polishes.

Fool proof polish!

When it comes to nail polish, I tend to be quite skeptical especially since gel is a go-to. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this Essie polish due to its color, application and wear. In terms of color, this shade looks great with one coat or multiple depending on the look youre going for. And since it has a nice shimmer to it, it doesnt show imperfections or chips either. I love natural colors, so this one was an A+ for me. Because you can really build up the opacity of this polish, this made applying it really easy with three main swipes across the nail. And due to the shimmer, its really forgiving even if you do make a mistake. The brush was also quite flat and wide, which helped with the application process. Formula Problem

I am obsessed with Essie, that’s all I have bought since 10 years ago. I have tried Tuck it in my Tux and few others and decided Marshmallow has the best hue!!!! I love the color, not too white not pink, just right. The formula however is horrible. The first couple of times after opening the bottle is great except in order not to get streaks you have to apply 3 coats. After a few days of opening the bottle, the formula gets thick and clumpy and not usable!!! Also, the mandatory 3 layers make the nail polish to peel off in a day or two because it’s simply two thick and rubber feel like almost. Please note this is a constructive review for Essie, I am asking you to please change this formula since I love your products. Glimmering Perfection

I'm already a big fan of Essie polishes and have dozens in my personal collection, so when I received the polish in Birthday Girl, I was ecstatic. This polish lives up to what I have grown to love with Essie polishes -- long lasting, easy application, and beautiful colour and shine. I especially love this colour and the shimmer and sparkle in the formula. I had even, opaque application after two coats and got between 5-7 days wear without any chips when finished with the Essie Good to Go topcoat. I have pretty small nails so I can appreciate the small brush for ease of application, and I require virtually no cleanup because it allows for precision. I received this product to try I #freeproduct free in exchange for my review. Gotta be honest I was pretty excited as I have heard great things about essie polishes but have never tried them. Glitter polish is not my choice when it comes to nail polishes, but I was eager to try it being essie brand. It is a very thick polish and I found the coverage to be interesting. I was not happy with how it spread and almost had to dab it on to achieve the look I was after. I did two coats. It lasted about a day before it started to chip. Because it is of such a weird consistency, removing it was proved harder than anticipated. Because of the glitter, one has to almost soak their nails in remover or use a very saturated wipe for effective removal. Very Classy

I received this nail polish for free to try in exchange for my honest review from Chick Advisor and Essie. #gotitfree The shade Birthday Girl is a beautiful translucent pink shimmer. The glitter is so small and so fine it is always catching the light and looks amazing. It dried very quickly which is awesome and also makes touching up any chips very easy. With one coat it lasts 24 hours without chipping. With 2 coats the pink color really starts to come out and it lasted 3 days before chipping. It can probably last longer than 3 days without chipping it really depends on how much work you do throughout the day. It looks very classy on its own. I can totally see myself wearing this to upcoming spring weddings.
