Purchased a second 14cm saucepan after new induction install & rest of pans in storage. Always handy to have a couple of small pans. Have owned Essteele Per Vita pans over 25 years, used on gas and now induction. A couple of older ones had to be changed for induction. The essteele cleaner brings pans back to new even when hubby burns food in them. They look smart on black glass induction with the copper band and steel and work efficiently. Only down side new style lids, from original black knob, don't have an option to open & allow steam to escape so over spill from boiling is more common.

Amazing pans to use. Easy to clean, have even burnt cheese sauce on occasion in my smaller pan. Cleaned it up no problem. Have had to throw out other makes of pans before. I have recommended them to people I know on many occasions. Will never regret buying these pans.

These pans are always great quality. Love the silver and brass two-tone look. The bottom of the pan helps spread the heat evenly. I actually think that this pot boils water quicker than my other saucepan of the same size (different brand).

After reading reviews, I was torn about whether this pan would be good or not... but I took the chance and am glad I did. I am not sure why others are having problems with things sticking to the bottom; perhaps the heat is being set too high for what they are cooking? I haven't had any issues with thinkings burning or sticking, and that is without seasoning the pan. The heat distribution is great to finally have in a pan, after so many years using thin aluminium pans.
I bought an essteele cookware set for a new place with induction cooktops as my old set of Allclad was only functional on gas / electric burners .Essteele is just as substantial and well designed for cooking to traditional recipes but i have two complaints .1 Local tap water creates deposits on the internal surfaces and while these deposits are easily removed with the essteele cleaning product , i do not like to do this as often as needed to make the finishes appear unspotted ;2 The bright finish hollow elliptical-sectioned handle , while elegant in appearance and easy to keep clean , is slippery , difficult to grasp firmly enough to give the pot / pan directional motion while cooking , and lends instability to handling the larger sizes with just one hand . A flat or even concave upper surface to the handle ( compare Allclad ) would rectify this .
We recently purchased a new Essteele saucepan to replace virtually the same saucepan we had had for many, many years. The saucepans are high quality and look good.The new model has a longer handle which is a good idea on the stovetop (induction). Very happy with the product and it was on special. Also has a two year warranty.
My husband bought this product before Christmas. Shortly after the bottom of the pan became discoloured and looked rusty. I took it back to the shop and had to wait 4 weeks until I got a replacement with a note that the pan obviously is not dishwasher proof.. I wasn't too happy with this because I wanted a saucepan that I can put in the dishwasher. For the price I paid I am very disappointed. On a further note I find the pan is too heavy and it takes a very long time to heat up. I have WMF saucepans that are much lighter, dishwasherproof and they heat up in no time.
We loved our older Esteele saucepans, unfortunately a few small changes have taken the shine off what was once one of the best cooking saucepans around. Hollow handles that collect and hold water when washed,no more soft (and cool) touch silicon handles, and rivets through the pot for handles making keeping these clean more of a chore. They are still great, but if you used one of the older Australis range you know how the Per Vita is a step backwards.
Very good quality saucepan. This is our 3rd item in this collection. These are truly a joy to use, very sturdy and high quality and stylish. Only downside and this doesn’t affect the rating because they are exceptional cookware, water pools in the handles after being in the dishwasher and if you’re on autopilot and forget to empty this into the sink some water flows out onto our floor. Doesn’t affect the use of pot in any way. Would highly recommend.
I read about the Essteele product and I found many customers positively talk about the products. I purchased this 3.8 L saurcepan. The saucepan is heavy and seems sturdy, yet within 2-3 weeks the pan started to get burn at the bottom (with normal usage and there was no burnt food). Additionally, inside the pan the color became dark. I used some recommended detergent and did not make any change in the burning traces at the outer bottom and the dark colour inside.They claim to give lifetime warrenty, I contacted Essteele customer services and they messages me that they will contact me to sort this issue, yet after a month I still did not hear from them.
