Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent 50ml

First off, I am relieved to find that I am not having any issues with the performance. I applied 5 sprays this morning and I can still smell it right now. Granted, it's not a silage bomb, but I am getting lovely wafts here and there when I move around. As to the fragrance, I think it's very pretty if a little basic. I would love if the florals were amped up more, which is just my personal preference, but it does have a nice fruit to floral ratio that would probably work better in the heat of summer than the 40-degree day it is here right now. Though no wood is listed in the notes, I am picking up woody notes. I can only guess that the whole coconut was used, shell and all, which is creating that effect. It's certainly different from some other tropical style perfumes that use a syrupy sweet juicy coconut. I like some of those too, but here the dryer approach is not cloying as some of those can sometimes be, especially when worn in high heat. Does this scent blow my socks off? No, but I think it's a nice fragrance to wear when you want something soft and light in the heat of the summer where anything heavier might feel too oppressive.

This is a gorgeous amber/vanilla floral with a bit of that sunscreen scent (I mean that in a VERY good way!) without being overly coconut-y. It's very rich, creamy, and sensual. I'm not a huge fan of very sugary sweet scents. To me this perfume definitely has sweetness, but in a more grown-up way. You don't need much at all, either! I usually just go with two sprays and that's plenty. It lasts (especially on clothing) and has pretty good projection. This is mostly an evening/night out scent for me (I find it to be on the heavier side, but not cloying), but I occasionally wear it on cooler summer days. Oh and the bottle is very striking! It does get fingerprints, but it's so stunning, I don't even mind.

Doesn't smell even remotely close to how it used to

The original bronze goddess scent that I had from 2015-2018 smells completely different than this. After my bottle ran out I tried to find another one in stores and didn't have any luck so I came online and was so excited to find it in stock. Before purchasing I read the reviews and found out the fragrance had changed "slightly". Well I received it, and before I even opened the lid, I could tell it didn't smell anything like it used to. There may be a tiny hint of the old smell but I had to try so hard to find it. I'm so disappointed because there truly was no other fragrance I've ever come across in my life that I liked as much as the original bronze goddess scent. I'm a scent collector

I have been a scent collector of rare, HTF and discontinued perfumes for years. I'm usually not interested in new perfumes. The summer advertising attracted me. I read the online reviews here and on the fragrance boards I frequent (MUA, Basenotes, Fragrantica). Others said if you own Black Opium you don't need this because it's the same without the coffee. I disagree. There's more of a difference. This smells like hot sand and desert plants. I'm reminded of my lovely vacation climbing mountains in Phoenix. It is a mild scent that you think has gone away, but hours later you get a faint aroma wafting from your skin. I love it! This is not close to anything sold by Victoria's Secret or Bath & Body Works. I used to wear Cinnabar for many years. It was my signature scent. People knew recognized me oftentimes by this scent. Estée Lauder changed the scent without giving loyal customers any type of warning. My last bottle of Cinnabar I purchased was a complete waste of money because it sat on my dresser until I just threw it out because I hated it after it was changed. I have been on the hunt for another scent that speaks to me like this. I bought Bronze Goddess, I liked it enough to buy another bottle of it only to find out Estée Lauder had done it again, changed the formula so it is different than my original bottle. Love the perfume but was ripped off!

5 star for the perfume but 0 star for the online shopping experience. I love this unique scent for summer. It’s a nice change from florals as it’s more vanilla and coconut, making it a deeper scent, not light and floral like white linen. I think the 100ml bottle is too heavy and awkward being a square bottle, so recommend the 50ml for this reason. It’s expensive, but look for an offer to make it more value for money. Buy in store to be sure to get the bonus offer gift pack as it says online “while stocks last” so I didn’t get the gift with purchase even though it was still advertised online. Summer Delight!

Estée Lauder are really spoiling QVC customers with their TSV collections and this is seriously no exception. EL sets the benchmark for skincare and makeup. The 50ml size of Advanced Night Repair serum is reason alone to make this purchase it ticks all the boxes for me. Radiance, hydration, firmness and a noticeably younger looking skin. I first purchased this serum 30 years ago and have continued to use it regularly ever since. The Resilience eye cream is my all time favourite no other eye cream can compete for results particularly around the lifting of eye contours itls intensely nourishing sand gentle to sensitive eyes. The star is not the fragrance

The value in this collection is not in the Bronze Goddess (which is a rather over dramatic name) but in the serum. While the fragrance is not off putting with a pleasant summer floral aroma, it is very light, just a whisper and is not long lasting, a bit underwhelming but I can smell real flowers in the eau fraîche. The serum is great. Light and moisturising and it makes your moisturiser work much more easy. I did buy the collection for the serum. A nice lengthening mascara is most welcome too. I haven’t used the eye cream long enough to notice a difference but it is good to have received new products to try. Underwhelmed

I was drawn to this collection as I liked the fragrance notes of the summery perfume and was keen to try advanced night repair. Sadly, on arrival the perfume didn’t live up to my expectations- the scent was really wish-washy, and smelt like watered down sun tan lotion and had less staying power than a basic body mist. The serum was nice to apply but wasn’t as effective as the products I’m already using. Didn’t bother with the eye cream or mascara as can’t justify keeping them and was so disappointed by the other products. Lastly, the high numbers of of positive reviews posted on the QVC website for this collection are misleading as they are from Estée Lauder’s brand website collected over many years and are just for the perfume. Wonderful holiday scent

It is very difficult when buying perfume without testing it first. So hard to explain because it depends on what you like. When I first smelt this it reminded me of my mum sunbathing on the beach. The days when they used oils from the South of France to ensure a dark tan. It is exotic and flowery but there are no overriding scent so you don't smell a particular flower. It smells more complex so like lots of different scents which is why it reminds me of a beach where many people are putting various oils on and sunbathing. It has a warmth to it. If you generally like Estee Lauder scents you will probably like this too. For me it is a day fragrance.
