I received a sample of this product from Influenster for my honest review. I will preface this by saying that I have really dry skin that is exacerbated by the fact that I live in the desert. Also, I may have had better results had I been able to try the product longer, but the sample was enough for about two weeks use.I used this product on its own followed by just my moisturizer (and SPF in the morning) a handful of times, and then the rest of time as an additional step in my normal skincare routine, to give it a fair assessment. So overall I did like this... It felt good going on and sunk right into my skin, added a bit of moisture while making my skin look a little more hydrated, and the scent was pleasant and light. Especially for those that already really love Estee Lauder products and have oily skin, I could see this possibly being really awesome.

Honestly this product was living up to my expectations until it decided to irritate my nose. Given that I did give my skin a break and it's still managed to slightly irritate it I would say that it's not for all areas of my face although it should be perfectly formulated for my skin. I have sensitive skin that is red, dry and oily at the same time. Love other Estee Lauder products that I have purchased and honestly I would say for anybody who chooses to buy this product to please just do like a patch test on several parts of your skin that wouldn't be so noticeable to others that you know exactly where you're testing it out. I would recommend this product as my forehead and outer cheeks look amazing and feel hydrated with a smooth appearance.

This new variant, on the other hand, is thin and very watery.I love watery serums, it just does not suit this product, nor the price tag.I did not notice any help with soothing a slight sunburn and testing it applying it onto half of my face and using the previous version of ANR (Synchronized Recovery Complex II containing 12.4% Bifida Ferment Lysate) on the other half, I have to admit that ANR Synchronized Recovery Complex II did a far better job. This is due to its more emollient consistency and containing water-soluble emollients that aid moisturising and soothing the skin.This product is way overpriced for what you get: a gel mostly containing water and some surfactants.Packaging is awful and the people who designed it, should be condemned using this till the end of days! The dropper lacks the tip making precise application very cumbersome! At this price range and from a company formerly having excellent reputation, this is unacceptable!ELC should bin this and the current ANR and bring back ANR Synchronized Recovery Complex!
