Jasmine et cigarette by Etat Libre D'Orange is a sexy and.seductive tobacco scent that perfectly evokes a feeling of confidence. The notes of jasmine musk and apricot give this scent a sweetness thats so mature and balances the hay tobacco and cumin. The perfume it self smells like the person accross the bar who bought you a drink, as you rush over to thank they disappear the smell of thier cold pack.of cigarettes and clothing lingers on their seat. Will fate allow you to meet again? Or are you just left with the memory of their scent?

This is one of the most unique fragrances i own. Sultry, smoky and sexy, but still soft and not overpowering. The lasting power is maybe 4 hours? I don't mind reapplying!

Jasmin et Cigarette is a wonderful way to step into the world of niche perfumes. Jasmin et Cigarette is not for the faint of heart, lots of jasmin upfront but there is that soft, ashy cigarette in the background. I often imagine it as something you would find a stunning Farrah Faucet type woman wearing out on the town in the late 70’s early 80’s. But not in a dated way at all. This woman is the life of the party, confident but approachable. She would be seen at Studio 54 laughing it up until 3:00 in the morning, and looking amazing the whole time. That is what a good niche fragrance does, it creates a story, and Jasmin et Cigarette certainly does that.

After comparing the online description of this fragrance to my personal experience, it’s easy to see that perfume can be highly romanticized, and I’m sure I’ve been guilty of that. But do not in any way blind buy this. They sell samples, and if you want to be sure you will like this, please be sure to get a sample first.

Femininity in a bottle

This fragrance is so feminine and so good! The fragrance lasts a really long time and remains fresh but elegant, perfect even for winter. I have nothing but constant compliments! next time I absolutely have to get the large bottle

Jasmine with a twist

I love this fragrance. It is unique and not like other fragrances. The fragrance lasts a long time on me. I smell the jasmine with a hint of "tobacco". It is truly a unique fragrance. I plan on trying more fragrances from this fragrance line!

Nightclub

So here’s the deal- this fragrance, on me, smells like a nightclub ashtray. I love it. I am into very odd fragrances and this is my new favorite. I’ve heard other people say this smells like a heavy jasmine and tobacco but I don’t get that with my body chemistry at all. It does open with a dirty jasmine, but then I get the ashtray smell. Smells like a woman (or man) who’s been out all night having a good time. This wasn’t a blind buy for me because I bought a sample on eBay first. I had to have it after I smelled it. This isn’t for anyone who like “safe” perfumes.

Smells exactly as described

I bough the trial pack of all these fragrances and have been blindly dousing myself every morning. I've loved all of them until today's, the Jasmine & Cigarette. My optimistic nature assumed it would smell like smoky woods and mystery. Nope. I smell like the cranky old lady chain smoker who works at the post office. This fragrance literally, truly, smells like cigarettes with air freshener blasted over it to hide the smell. And, both a curse and a blessing, this perfume lasts forever. So it is not washing off. Please sniff before you buy!

The search is over!!!

I found it! The perfect perfume!!! I was looking for a smoky floral, this came up in the hunt before but I read that it smelt like actual cigarettes. That’s not what I smell. I smell a beautiful clean heavy jasmine (not indoley at all, which I thought was a smart move) followed by a smokiness that I would say was more of a bonfire/incense sort of deal. This perfume is beautiful and sexy and strong and feminine. This is my signature perfume now.
