I tried out this fragrance after receiving a sample from Influenster. Being familiar with other Calvin Klein fragrances, I wasn’t too hype to try this out because frankly they all smell pretty generic and forgettable, but this one is different. This goes in a completely and total opposite direction when compared to the original Eternity DNA. It starts off warm, dark, a bit spicy and slightly boozy. You get a whiff of spicy lavender, a hint of a rum accord, and an amber/vanilla base with a hint of what it seems like to be woods. 100% is a unisex fragrance, leaning masculine ever so slightly. It does have more of a distinctive scent which does set it apart from all other colognes (parfums). While I appreciate the scent, it’s not really something I would wear daily - it seems to me that this should be more of “a night out” or “special occasion” Parfum. The Calvin Klein Eternity Parfum is definitely something you would like to keep in your fragrance collection. If you read the description of “Eternity”, you would think all those different scents would complicate or overpower each other. There are notes of lavender, sandalwood, rosewood, jasmine and basil. Instead, all these scents blend together to present a crisp, clean, consistent, and united performance. It goes on smooth and it not overpowering. Eternity is citrusy, fresh, and masculine scent. It holds up well; however, it is not the longest lasting cologne. It starts dissipating in 2 – 3 hours. By the 5th hour, you need to refresh. I have been wearing Eternity for decades, which is a testament to this brand’s longevity. Truly a classic and one of my favorite colognes.

It’s nice but it seems like something I have smelled before. It doesn’t project heavily it’s more of an intimate scent that gets very close to the skin after about 10-15 minutes. It does last about 7-8 hours on the skin but it’s not going to get you noticed unless you overspray. Again this is good but with all of the other similar fragrances out there like most wanted, Club black, noir extreme, and so on this doesn’t really stand out as one to buy above others. But I have to give it to CK they made me actually want to buy an eternity for my collection.

Amazed by this exquisitely sweet and sexy fragrance for a determined and masculine man. It's a good fragrance balanced and not too neither sweet nor bitter, it has a point very successful medium. I perceive the notes of jasmine, rum and vanilla, I love the combination and how it stays on the skin lasts for many hours and leaves a spectacular trail. At first it is strong but after a few minutes it becomes subtle but forceful. It seems to me more at night and has a casual and current touch, without losing style for it. I find the bottle super elegant and sensual with a hint of rum. The truth is that it seems to me a good launch of C.K and I am going to recommend it to friends, family and followers, a men's fragrance to leave a mark and be remembered.

The notes and scent are nothing like the original and lacks the citrus notes. I am not sure why they kept the same name. The new parfum is more for Fall and Winter with strong notes of vanilla, lavender, rum (barely noticeable and fades), woody notes and is sweet. The vanilla is prominent right from first spray along with a hint of floral and booze. The rum dies down though where it becomes more powdery, floral, woody and soft. The sillage is average along with longevity and definitely not strong, but like I said just spray more. It is pleasant and nothing new and will make a good cold weather addition to your collection if you like vanilla, powdery, lavender and sweet. The opening is very nice, floral and sweet. However I don't like the tobacco smell dry down and its not the most long lasting. The notes are vanilla, rum and lavender (im not sure how im smelling tobacco). It's not the most strong either only lasting 3-4 hours on my skin AT THE MAX. Projection is moderate but dies down heavily after a few minutes. I honestly could have saved my money and gotten something better (i got it for cheaper than RRP, $60) like Mercedes Benz Club Black or Lattafa Kamrah. These smell so much better in my opinion and are cheaper as well. Overall great opening, but lacking in other aspects.

Disappointing

I recently purchased this bottle of Calvin Klein Eternity perfume and was immediately disappointed. When I opened the box, I noticed residue around the cap and it had a strong scent emitting from the bottle even before I started using it. This leads me to believe that the bottle is defective and wasn’t sealed properly, which is concerning for the integrity of the product.I contacted customer service about this issue over a week ago, requesting an exchange, but I haven’t received any response. Instead, I got an email asking for a review, so here it is. Very disappointed with both the product quality and customer service.
