Etnies Marana Mens Shoes - Black Dark Grey Gum

The Marana is still one of the best Cupsoles on the market. Durable, comfortable and always available. The sole is strong and offers the perfect amount of grip over it\'s lifespan. With a little superglue on the laces before the first session, this shoe will last a good while.I recommend to wear them a few days before skating to break them in.

Great durable shoe, takes very long to wear through the sole and toe cap. The laces rip very quickly. I have 3D printed a lace protector which helps solve this problem. The suede is very durable but the creme coloring wears off and gets on the gum outer sole of the other shoe which is nearly impossible to clean. They still look and feel awesome and give me a lot of confidence to land tricks and not scared of landing primo thanks to the great impact protection.

Best skate shoes

Prob the best skate shoes Ive ever skated. Padding is perfect and the shoe is super comfy(even more comfy than my everyday shoes so I basically swapped that out with my maranas). Insole and impact protection is perfect. Styling wise it looks like a classic skate shoe and fits really well with tons of outfits(mainly skating fashion). EXTREMELY durable ive skated mine for 8 months(heavy skating for around 5 and 3 on and off while swapping between other shoes). Still skating them after a couple of shoe goo jobs.these are the most comfortable shoes I've worn and they also happen to be a super nice looking shoe and extremely durable skate shoe.I will definitely be buying more to skate

This is probably the 10th time that I have sent you an email or have contacted you on your website directly! I am amazed, mind blown to see that you have ignored each and every single one of those attemps I have made to contact you! Great design, durability surprised me throughout. Any other shoe would have been in tatters from the amount of wear I gave these, especially the sole, which barely showed wear. (And I know I've put other shoes through less and had holes all the way through.)Only downside is the padding when they're fresh out of the box. It's enough to feel like a full half size down until they're broken in, but I can live with that.Overall, good enough that I know what I'll be buying until I can't anymore.

Great but annoying

Great shoes. Lots of wet traction. I use them as a professional driver who drives close to seventy hours a week. Like the style as it’s the type of skateboarding shoe I grew up with. Only down side is the left shoe started popping while walking a week after getting them. It does it on every step, and is very annoying to listen to constantly walking. Had for several months now and it hasn’t gone away or gotten quieter.

One of the best skate shoes

It's very stylish, although I customized with my laces, the black laces can't go wrong.Michelin Outsole survived, not only, 3-6 hours of learning sessions including ollie variations but also way I walk/ride my shoes, I am very forceful on my heel region.Overall, very useful shoes and it will save me money as ordinary shoes live short for me. It's true to size. I have wide feet, it fits pretty good. Don't forget to redo laces!

Tongue straps pls

I like the sturdyness of these shoes, to me they feel protective, comfortable and grip good on board,But,they don't have tongue straps...Tonge straps are a crucial feature to have in a good skateboard oriented shoe as it provides more stability and concistancy in the reaction of the shoes to the feet moving and therefore, perhaps more safety.Please add some tongue Straps in those and other skate shoes to make them even better and make the world a better place.Other than that I'm stoked on the Marana's.Peace

Too small

Been wearing size 13 for over ten years. These are the first pair that are too small. I had hoped to wear them to a casual event the week I received them.I recommend ordering a half size-full size over, if available. Now I have to ship them back on my dollar and await refund before purchasing new ones. The price is still the same as in-store shopping. So the only real benefit when ordering online would be not leaving the house. Otherwise, its a costly gamble.

Wow... Just wow!

So... I have really wide feet and only ordered a half size larger because I hate shoes that don't fit just right.Short story: Best shoes I've ever owned!Long story: I did have to break them in, and leave them just right. It did not take long for them to get on my feet and man, they grip better than so many shoes I've owned and they're naturally more comfortable than most of my shoes. I've added insoles to other brands and not had them as comfortable as these shoes are for me! I recommend that if you feel these are too tight when you first get them to look up lacing options based on foot shape. Oh, make sure you wear socks that wick sweat because they run a bit warm, but I'd rather have it snug than have thin walls that come apart.
