Etnies | Marana Mens Shoes. Grey/Black/Red 12

Wicked shoes haven’t had Etnies since I was about 12 or 13.Picking up skateboarding again at 32 figured I’d pick up a few pair.All are perfect fitting and look great.

Unbelievably durable! I bought this because it\'s vegan and I\'m trying my best to support vegan shoes/brands. I\'ve had them nearly 3 months and they\'re still going strong!

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. Whether for skating or walking, these shoes are a pleasure to wear. They're stylish, and the Michelin soles make me very proud to be able to support two French brands, as well as enjoying very good skating quality and durability.

Good shoe but…

I love the shoes, comfy, fit great, stylish, but the inside heel wears out before anything else on the shoe, don’t even get 8 months use out of them without the fabric ripping and exposing a hard plastic band that rubs on the tendon on my feet.

Nice look and super durable

When buying skate shoes I find it important that the shoes fit well without any pressure points or too much space to move my foot in. Also, durability is something I look for. As these shoes are made from suede they are pretty strong against the grip tape and with an extra rubber toe cap, it takes even longer to burn through. I bought the shoes in July and I'm still (28 December) using them as the grip didn't go through yet. I only skate with these shoes and try to skate at least twice a week. Where Nike or Adidas is too narrow for my foot, these Etnies work perfectly! I bought EU size 43 (I wear Vans Old Skool in size 42.5).The shoe is durable, has a nice fit, and is also pretty warm in winter. What I like about the brand Etnies is that for every sold pair they plant a tree in collaboration with 'Trees for the Future.I did have to get used to the amount of padding that is in the shoe as I am used to wearing Vans Old Skool. This happened fast and found that the padding gives me more stability in the shoe. The durable Michelin rubber sole has a lot of grip on the board and the inside cushioning feels super comfortable when landing tricks. All in all, nothing to complain about! I really like the shoes and will buy myself another pair once my current ones are done. For the wide-footed skaters that are looking for a durable shoe, this could be your winning pair. if you're not used to thickly padded shoes, try playing with the laces when fitting. this could already make the shoe a lot more comfortable!

On of the best all round skate shoe!

I usually skate Nike sb, Etnies was a bit of an experiment for me. Im skating street mostly and the feeling of Etnies shoes has been quite refreshing. I skate a size 8.38 and 149 trucks with 53 classic hard wheels.New shoes always can feel a bit off, especially when you are used to one brand in particular and you make the switch. In this case it felt like an improvement, the shoes performed well even on the first day which is strange for me. I normally need a couple days to get used to it as my foot positioning can vary with different shoes. The Etnies Marana felt very comfortable from the start, enough cushioning without feeling too big and the grip was really good as most of the shoe is suede material. On that point, it is a very durable shoe, you can easily do 3-4 weeks of very intense skating and the shoe will hold up!In conclusion, this product is a very good choice for any type of skater and It will last more than your average skate shoe thanks to its great outsole. Looks wise, the Marana is a very good looking shoe, it may not seem in the pictures but once you put them on they do look great!I would definitely buy again. It has for sure been my most durable and long lasting skate shoe.

Rather comfy

I'd say these are the most comfortable skate shoes I have owned, they do fit a little snug for the size. I went a half size larger then I usually wear based on other reviews, and they fit just snug.

Tongue straps pls

I like the sturdyness of these shoes, to me they feel protective, comfortable and grip good on board,But,they don't have tongue straps...Tonge straps are a crucial feature to have in a good skateboard oriented shoe as it provides more stability and concistancy in the reaction of the shoes to the feet moving and therefore, perhaps more safety.Please add some tongue Straps in those and other skate shoes to make them even better and make the world a better place.Other than that I'm stoked on the Marana's.Peace
