When I received this Eucerin Sun product, I was excited to try it because the body products have always soothed my super dry and touchy skin. It did not disappoint! The Sensitive Tinted Mineral Face Sunscreen SPF 35 has a thicker consistency that you would expect from a foundation/sunscreen combo, but doesn't feel heavy (you only need a couple of pumps). The coverage was good as well. At first I thought the color was going to start out too dark for my fair skin because it looked that way when I first dispensed it... don't panic! It went on much lighter once applied and it makes sense that it can be customized to your skin tone by adding less or more. With all other Eucerin products, it keeps my skin moisturized. Will definitely be one of my go-to face sunscreens.

So I recently went on a skincare diet. After years of suffering from irritation, oily skin, and consistent breakouts. I went to only cleanser and sunscreen. I researched sunscreens and wanted to try something mineral and tinted so I could be less self conscious while also protecting my skin while I didn’t wear makeup. The first few weeks, my skin cleared up with cerave hydrating cleanser and la roche posay tinted spf. Then I introduced this to save money. Then started a month of constant, painful, white heads and pustules worse than ever. I recently stopped using this again and boom. Acne went away and now I have clear skin. It got three stars for the pump, shade, and ease of application. Minus two for it being definitely NOT MATTE and not for acne sufferers.

Since I use tretinoin, my skin is more susceptible to sunburns, so I really need a trusted sunscreen. This sunscreen contains antioxidants, Vitamin E and Vitamin C. I've worn it alone and I've also worn it under makeup. The slight tint helps to even out my skintone. There is no white cast, it's lightweight, dries clear, isn't sticky and dries matte. It's also free of fragrance, dyes, parabens, PABA, phthalates, oxybenzone and octinoxate. With all of that said, I don't really care for the pump container it is in. I don't know who likes a grease slick look during the day - is makeup supposed to go over this? I had to blot with paper towels like I was a bacon tray. The feeling was vile also, like oil would drip from my face. Lastly, the smell of this product when on the skin reminded me of what my face might smell like if I slept in all my makeup for two days. I give it one star because it's tinted and there is no white cast at all, which is really great. But this formulation is just ridiculous. I really like this sunscreen. My skin is sensitive, combo, and acne prone so it’s hard for me to find a product that does not irritate my skin. This sunscreen does not break me out or pill! It applies very smoothly. The only thing I do not like about it is how oily it makes me look. I always put translucent powder on top and it looks very nice. Ever since I bought this sunscreen I have been using it as a foundation. I put concealer on top along with some powder and it looks better than my foundation! I wish they could change the formula to not be so greasy looking, then it would be the perfect sunscreen!
I have mixed opinions about this sunscreen but generally am not impressed with it. I have very oily acne prone skin and this has not broke me out which has been a pleasant surprise. However, this sunscreen leaves a very greasy finish. If I use a full pump on my face I look like I took a bath in vaseline. A half pump is much more tolerable. As far as the tint goes, the pigment literally disappears on my face which defeats the purpose of a tinted sunscreen for my purposes. I do not see a white cast but I am fairly pale. Finally, this sunscreen does have a weird smell that I notice throughout the day and really dislike. I will probably use this until it's empty but almost certainly will not be repurchasing.
