I bought this one because my day to day emulsion from Avene was out of stock .. i must say that i am very happy with this.. it is soothing hydrating and very light and easy to apply . The product is also very clean in ingredients making suitable to use the product even if you are on acnee treatment. Very good for oily and combination skin … maybe a richest product is required for very dry sking .. i am using this before my epiduo and i am very happy with the result .. no dry patches or redness so far .

This is an extremely gentle, no-nonsense moisturizer that gets the job done. My skin feels so soft and hydrated after using it. I purchased this when Avene discontinued their Extreme Tolerance Emulsion to have on hand in case I needed it. Perfect for situations when your skin is sensitized and can't handle much more than the basics!

I applied it in the evening as the last step in my skincare routine and was initially a little put off by the thick texture. It seemed more like a body cream than moisturiser and I was concerned it would clog the pores on my face. However, it melts into the skin easily and dry areas drank it up quickly. It does leave a slight film on the skin but it’s not overly greasy or heavy feeling. With actual dry /combination skin coupled with occasional breakouts and awful rosacea it’s safe to say I can’t just use any product. Upon coming across a dermatologist who spoke of the creation of this product he mentioned has simsitive in it which is a nobel prize winning breakthrough ingredient at protecting the skin barrier which is particularly helpful in rosacea and sensitivity. I was looking for a moisturiser that would be thick enough to layer over epiduo acne cream as thinner lotions don’t seem to work well. I needed something thick enough to layer but not greasy or cause breakouts. This is a good option for those with very sensitive skin and layers well. I find it’s not as moisturising sometimes on its own for daytime use but it’s the only cream that works well over prescription creams. It’s gentle enough to use around the eyes. It has a medium thickness, lotion texture. Overall a good option for very sensitive skin.
This cream along side clinisept+ skin spray, pimple patch and Simple micellar water wash saved my skin with terrible reaction from trying new serums and breaking my skin barrier with over exfoliation. My skin is acne prone sensitive dehydrated and my skin can't handle Hyaluronic acid, BHA, Niacinamide and Vitamin C even the Cerave products, it will either irritate or break me out and stupid me I knowingly bought a Niacinamide serum and Kojic acid serum and I put both on my face after exfoliation which I know is dumb and then went to sleep! And not surprisingly Lo and behold I woke up with irritated red bumpy skin and it turned worse as the hours go by and I was breaking out with white pus spots!
