These sensors are small, reliable, easy to set up, and look nice and modern. Just put the battery in, spend 30 seconds pairing with the Homebase and assigning it a name, then stick the two parts on your door/window and frame. It's a nice way to supplement a couple of Eufy cams since the cams' motion/human detection is maybe 90% reliable.Be sure to use the Eufy app to customize when you want to receive notifications and alarms. I have mine set so they don't send any notifications when our system is in Home mode, but will alarm when in Away mode. If you have a lot of sensors or modes, it's annoying to configure the settings one-by-one in the app, but you'll probably only do that once or twice anyway. The adhesive backing is very strong, so make sure of where you ... MoreThese sensors are small, reliable, easy to set up, and look nice and modern. I'm sure they'll pull up the paint when I want to remove them, so if you're worried about that, maybe attach them to Command strips first. (Just remember that if the adhesive is too weak and they fall down, your alarm might go off.)I haven't owned them long enough to comment on battery life, but the rest of the process is incredibly straightforward, and I think these are a good deal when they're on sale.

You need the Home Base, either one but now get home base 3 as home base 2 will soon be not for sale anymore and all equipment will be transferrable to home base 3.This sensor can be put on any door or window simply with the included double stick tape. Works on gates, doors, sliding doors, any window, hatch, etc. Integrates with my Google Home app and Eufy app. Can make it beep when opened/closed and trigger an alarm via home base that's approximately 100db loud when alarm is armed. Only downside is the alarm goes off if sensor tripped is closed. Disabling the alarm tone. Wish it stayed going until manually silenced in app by user. Eufy really should update via firmware this glitch. Otherwise, works great, easy to install and sync to home base and Google . Better than recharging every month.

After having cameras (Arlo) which alerted me to stray cats, pigeons flying, shadows moving on the driveway, I am incredibly impressed by these cameras. I am 70+ years old and, frankly needed help in getting the motion part set up. I called Eufy and spoke to a Lou who patiently helped me every step of the way. I went from 40-50 alerts a day with the Arlo to about 5-10 with the Eufy. They truly do pick up only human shapes. And they respond faster than my former cameras. I no longer wake up at night, hearing alerts and worrying about what could be outside. I love these cameras.

This is an excellent addition to our eufy security system! It works exactly how it should. We have it on our front door/slider doors in kitchen and master bedroom. I have it set so if the door is opened during the night or whilst we are not home the home base triggers a loud alarm and also alerts us via our phones. You can select a handful of notification noises when the door is opened. The sound comes from the home base and you will receive a notification on your phone. I haven't had any issues yet.
These are great door and window sensors! You need Eufy Homebase to connect. All the features of leading brands (Ring, Simplisafe) are in it with no monthly subscription needed. Subscription is also available with half the price vs the leading brands. The app has various options like Home, Away, scheduling different modes, etc. If using app, you don't need the physical keypad. Also, the sensor magnets work pretty well even on unlevelled door vs door bracket / trim or gap between them.
Door sensors, what could possibly be said about these? Well, lets start off with if you have a door that these can be magnetic mounted, then you don't have to drill any holes and just attach them to your door..The magnet on the small piece that attached to the door is very strong.. I tested these by literally slamming my door several times and they didn't budge. The bigger piece i used the sticky tape that comes in the packaging to attach them to the frame so that when the door opens, it lets me know. Also the battery on these seems to last a really long time as well.. I haven't had to change out the batteries in these yet.. I'm quite sure i won't have to do that for a long time. Now keeping in mind that the only function for these is to let you know when a door ... MoreDoor sensors, what could possibly be said about these? File cabinets, refrigerators, safes, etc... So if you're looking to log when something is open and closed, then think about purchasing one of these.. For the price, you can't go wrong.
This was amazingly simple to setup and connect to my Homebase 2 that I already had setup with my Eufy Cameras. It sticks in place with 3m stickers and sends notifications to my iPhone and Apple Watch when the windows are opened or closed. The history of events are shown in the app so you can review things.Eufy seems to be setting there products priority for privacy in terms of everything being processed in your house rather than being sent to a server where your data is potentially being harvested, leaked, or sold. This is very impressive in times when we are worried about privacy. It also has the benefit of removing a monthly subscription! Think about how much of a trick others companies are....”buy our over priced camera, pay us a subscription to be able to look ... MoreThis was amazingly simple to setup and connect to my Homebase 2 that I already had setup with my Eufy Cameras. Think about how much of a trick others companies are....”buy our over priced camera, pay us a subscription to be able to look at your recordings, we get to look at your data!”. With Eufy this is not the case. Free to use and private.However......I may have to return these as they don’t quite meet my needs/expectations. The cameras integrate with homekit and therefore other smart devices. These just say door is open, door is closed..alarm on base station goes off.....that’s all. They can’t turn your lights on or off or even set the alarms off on other eufy cameras which seems daft. They do what they say they do very well. Easy, simple and private. However I feel that in today’s smart home they need better integration with at least the companies other products. Hopefully it’s just a software update and a flick of a switch.
Pros:Extremely easy to installThe two pieces can be further apart than the instructions state and they still work wonderfully.Cons:There is no button on the sensor to turn off the alarm. I set it off accidentally and it kept screaming until I could turn it off with my phone.Turning the alarm off with the program is not intuitive. I had to change the settings from night time to day time to get it to stop screaming. Is there an easier way that I can’t find?If I had realized it would be so hard to turn off the alarm I would have bought a different product.
Garage Door remotes were being accidentally triggered and would remain open for an extended time. Installed on garage door, and I know immediately if the remotes have been triggered accidentally. I also have a remote start for my car and I open the Garage Doors for ventilation. Sensor alert lets me know that the car is not running in an un-ventilated space. Easy to install and setup. Easy to monitor with Eufy Security App. Have 3 other Eufy Devices and planning on purchasing a few more.
I was anxiety ridden after losing the key to my side door at my residence, and decided to purchase this because it was affordable and versatile. The sensor logs whenever the door is opened and even plays a chime. I’m not expecting this to stop an actual home intruder but it gives me enough time to wake up and walk out the other door lol, or at least just enough peace of mind. Not sure if this is necessarily better than a camera or motion sensor but it was in stock and easy to set up.
