The box comes with everything you need to install just need screwdriver. This smart lock provides superior security with peace of mind. Let’s start with the packaging.. it very nicely packaged and everything is well protected. Once out of the box, installing it was a breeze. So simple! Zero issues mounting it to the front door and it seamlessly connected to our Google Home system once it was set up on the Eufy app. The main person who sets up the security lock is the “owner” and is able to share admin access to other people (if desired). We have 5 kids (who don’t have admin access) they each have their own passcode linked to their names so we know who unlocks/ locks the door and a record is kept on the app. We can seamlessly ask “hey Google, lock the front door” and within 3 seconds it’s locked. We previously had a Nest security lock but Nest and Googled merged companies and the door lock system never fully worked after the companies merged. That brings me to the very minimal dislikes.. I don’t like that you have to hold the confirm button for so long (5 seconds) before the door locks with the outside keypad. It would be great if it was a simple button press like the Nest did. Also there is no Privacy Mode that disables all passcodes like the Nest did. I would have to go through and disable passcodes one by one which is a pain when wanting privacy and making sure there are no unexpected visitors. Overall this is a solid security lock and will now be my recommendation to anyone in the market for one.

Amazing Security

Pros:1. Looks very sleek.2. Installed within 20 minutes.3. Unlock via app, passcode, or a physical key.4. Easy to use app from anywhere! Don’t have to be within lock range.5. Lets all members of the house create their own passkey.6. Shows you time history of when door is locked and unlocked in the app.7. Can withstand any type of weather!Cons:1. App is under one account so if everybody uses the app it doesn’t specify who opened the door just the account user.

Best smart lock!

I’m totally blown away on how easy the installation process was. In total about an hour. Why? After the installation of the lock, the download of the app and registration process. The app is extremely easy to understand and navigate. I bought a Veise smart lock and after the installation, I couldn’t get the lock to synchronize with my phone blue tooth. Spent over an hour and it wouldn’t synchronize. Called the manufacturer got no response. I immediately shipped it back for a refund. Please stay away from Veise products. I highly recommend Eufy products. One drawback the door to my home has a deadbolt and handle lock. It would have been better if both locks were paired has one. Bottom and top lock together.

Definitely an upgrade to my previous locks

Pros: Great looking, easy to install and setup, access key management features are very good. Cons: Takes long to manually lock. Cannot set a key which is enabled once a month. The product title is misleading because it has no biometric features. Cannot set auto lock and unlock based on my vicinity which is a general issue with Alexa compatible locks. SmartThings allows you to lock and unlock based on your location but this lock is not supported. Overall: Great smart lock for this price.

Easy install

Easy and quick installation. Can be controlled via the eufy security app on your phone. We set it up on all the household members phone. Could not figure out how to have different accounts but we all are sharing the same account via the app. It comes with a physical key as well which is great because electronics cannot always be relied on. It replaced the deadbolt but the regular door knob also requires a key so it would be nice if somehow they were interchangeable so you did not have to use two different keys. In the vent the doorknob lock is locked then the deadbolt unlocking ability would be rendered useless so going to have to keep that in mind when give access to dog walkers, neighbors etc

Great Lock

Recently purchased this to install on a new front door. I wanted a simple smart lock without fingerprint entry as an option. Installation was seamless. I simply followed the directions via the app and was up and running in minutes. Please download the app before you install the lock.I also added the lock to my Google Home app and can now control it with voice commands. I'm very happy with the lock!

Install was a bit of a struggle, but overall I like it.

Installation was a bit of a headache because the insert into the door didn't fit. I was able to modify things to get a solid fit after about 45m of tinkering. The QR code to activate the device is tiny and in a very awkward spot. I struggled to get my phone to scan it.Having had the device installed for the past few weeks, I can say that I like it. With a few caveats: The locking mechanism seems very sensitive to the position of the bolt into the receiver. When using the app to lock the door, it fails more often than not. When using the keypad to lock the door, this doesn't seem to be an issue. It’s great, except you cannot get duplicate keys

I love the concept and price point, but after installing I went to get duplicate keys made. No place could figure it out. I called Eufy and they told me you cannot copy the keys. Huh, that can’t be or else it is one of the stupidest things I have heard. If you lose your keys you have to replace the lock if you want to use keys. I understand it’s a smart lock, but with property managers and such, they want physical keys. Very bad product design and seems like an easy fix. Returning it today.5 stars for the lock by itself, but 1 star for product design. So if you don’t care about keys at all, I would buy it.

One was great! Two is even better!

This is our second Eufy smart lock, identical to the first. We've had the first one for over 5 months and it's been fantastic. It's so nice to be able to lock / unlock the door remotely and get notifications when there's activity happening while you are away. (Or a teenager trying to sneak in or out at night.) So we added this one to our backdoor for the same piece of mind. Be sure to use "leak proof" batteries to avoid mishaps. I'm not sure if the batteries supplied with this unit are leakproof, so we went ahead and upgraded them when we installed it.
