Setup and Video quality seem to work well. Takes a little while to bring up the videos from the base unit. It was picking up too many motions despite playing around with the activity zone and lowering the sensitivity. I've disabled all motions except human on one to avoid this altogether. Additionally, I've had mixed results with my solar cameras on the charging. One is south facing with direct sunlight 4-6 hrs and maybe another 2 indirect and it's always charged. Another is west facing and seems to be getting 3-4 hours direct with another 2-3 indirect sun but charge has dropped to 24% and does not improve even with optimal battery performance on and having all motions turned off. Amazing 4K cam

The setup was super easy as always. It's a 4K camera, no doubt the picture quality is incredible, very clear. And the night vision is also very reliable. It's very easy to mount the wireless camera because no power cord is needed. With the solar panel, I don't even need to recharge the camera, that's so covenient. The eufy security app is easy to use and you can have so many customed settings on the camera. The design of the camera and the HomeBase are very mordern and elegent, I love this model. The expandable storage is a great feature. The BionicMind AI works great so far, the face recognition is accurate and that's very important. Eufy never disppoints me, their cameras are very reliable and so do their services. Highly recommend.

Awesome security system!!

The media could not be loaded.I waited until the 380 Home Base release. The AI feature works about 80% of what I had wanted, they are updating software regularly. The Cameras rock. Very clear and not much time (2 hours plus) to charge. I am impressed with picture sound and 8x zoom. The motion detection works better than hoped for. It has captured, cats, skunk, possum, deer and cars. The facial recognition is good but not awesome. I would love if you could add unknown images to known ones to build a stronger profile. I am greedy and would like better than 8x zoom.Remember, you do not have have monthly moniting, but is very reasonable to add.The pet feature is nice.Lasty, timed recording would be nice to capture sunrise or sunset

Best All Round

I was always an Arlo person until they reneged on their most basic promise of limited free cloud storage. They Arlo began to hint about pulling future support for older products. Even though they backtracked, I was done, threw away my close to 10 cameras and all the batteries. I switched to Eufy and have never been happier. The ecosystem hub/non-hub choices are a little difficult to navigate, but once you install you realize that these options give you flexibility. It all boils down to how you store data and how quickly it can be viewed/erased. You sacrifice recall speed if you do not tie to the hub. The independent cameras take a little more time but can be place anywhere there is WiFi. Once they fulfill the promise I would adjust my rating to 5 stars.These cameras are very powerful. Have up to 8x zoom and have AI detection and notifications. Starting out with the AI, I wish it gave you more options to identify people when they keep showing up on the camera. Right now unless you specifically added people it just shows up a person was detected. It would be nice if you could select who they was or denote them as a stranger.Love that this has large expandable storage. I dropped in a 500gb ssd and have only used 1% over 3 weeks with over 2000 recorded events. I love that I do not have to pay a monthly fee anymore for recording and storing.The solar power works great as well. After 3 weeks and a lot of use this battery gets up to 100% every time it charges from the sun. It will be interesting to see how it does in winter months, but I expect the battery would hold up.The product might be a little pricy compared to some others, but I think you get what you pay for and that these are worth the cost. I did obtain on prime day when this was on sale though.Overall 4/5 until they provide the promised HomeKit support.

I am really impressed with this system after having used it now for 1.5 weeks. My previous system was a few Nest cameras with the $100/year subscription through Google.Pros:-Video quality is great. I'm coming from 1080p video.-AI performs well - I'm getting notifications for family members, animals, and strangers. This helps me determine whether I need to open the app or if I can safely ignore the notification.-Local storage is the main reason I purchased these over other options. I am curious how these will standup over a few years in the elements.

Wiring for outdoor cameras is impractical and expensive. I've used battery powered cameras and while I was happy with the quality and the interface, the batteries can die unexpectedly even when they were newly installed. That's a problem when watching the building from afar.The solar cameras, so far, have kept a charge, and held the charge even through days and days of cloudy, foggy weather. The picture quality is the best in its class, even in dim light. Great 4K solar power camera

Recently, I was looking for a high-quality camera and saw a new product from eufy, which seems to have the best features on the market. so I chose it. I have purchased this camera for a few days and so far I am satisfied with it.4K resolution, very sharp and impressiveIntegrated solar panel charging, very convenient, do not need to worry about battery lifeSupport for face recognitionThe integrated Spotlight improves night vision and also acts as a warning lightSupports HDD storage expansionNo monthly feesI have the indoor camera of eufy, but HomeBase does not support the indoor camera yet. eufy officially said that it would be completed within this year. Wait and see.Overall just, I am very satisfied, worthy of recommendation!

Great quality video, sometimes...if your within 20-30 feet of the home base

I purchased a set of 2 on Amazon thinking they would be way better because they are wireless and solar. I live in a mobile home that is 65feet long. If I place the home base in the center of my home and put a camera on each end of the house neither one of the cameras stay connected because they loose signal and viewing them on the mobile app is almost impossible. Now I can say the video quality is great when they work, but I do not think they should have made these 4k, these cameras would probably work better at 2k or 2mp.
