It states it is powered by battery. This is NOT the case. It requires to be plugged in at all times. This really let me down having read it was battery powered which I so wanted. I am now having to tack cables and find sockets etc to get the cameras into the right place. Every other aspect of the camera is awesome. Not being battery powered was what let it down.

Bought this camera from Scan for my garage.......fantastic little camera, 30 free cloud storage and then the option to pay monthly for continued cloud storage (Very competetively priced) or just purchase a good quality micro SD card and record all video to the card. Follows you all around when you're moving about and has superb / countless very useful feature that can be enabled or disabled depending how you want to set it up. `

Easy to set up with great picture BUT I find it hard to operate & get it to work how I want it to. Would have been useful to have a user guide, not just set up guide. Bought to keep eye on dog who has started having seizures. Only leave him alone on the odd occasion, so don’t leave camera plugged in all the time. Unfortunately every time I do use it, I have to go through set up again, from scratch. It doesn’t save WiFi settings/preferences.

We were using the owlet baby monitor which was expensive and kept dropping signal so thought wed try one of these and its really good. No issues so far. Need an SD memory card for it if you want to review footage but theyre only 5 from Amazon. Worth it, I would recommend.
The installation is far too difficult for one like me who is not technically proficient.So too is its usage. What is Simple for one technically proficient is not Simple for one not technically proficient.
Good Points: Camera work well they are very clear and the sound is fine. Well worth the moneyImprovement Points: Longer cables would help with placement.
