We've now raised two different large breed puppies (one ended up being a 60-lb mixed breed, the other is a purebred Rottweiler) on Eukanuba large breed puppy food. I know some people turn their noses up at mass market brands, so we faffed about occasionally trying "better" (pricier!) food... but in the end, Eukanuba works with both of their sensitive tummies. They both have glossy, wonderful coats and lots of energy. I took the Rottie into a local canine bakery for some treats, and the owner fawned over her amazing body condition. The mixed breed has grown into an incredibly healthy, athletic gentleman adult dog. "Did you know he can jump a four-foot fence?" asked a dazed staff person at the dog daycare. I have a German Rottweiler puppy and the Vet and I tried 3 different brands that he refused to eat. Chewy representative spent time comparing different brands with me and we settled on this one. From the time I opened the bag he’s been eating the whole bowl without having to bribe him with mixing it with something. No gas, full belly, more energy and better temperament. Hand down best food around.

Our 4-month-old boxer pup is refusing to eat this. I tried mixing it with canned food and he basically swallowed the pieces whole eating it that way. He loves to throw the pieces in the air and play a game with them but doesn't eat them. I think the problem is the kibble is too large for a puppy. He doesn't have all his adult teeth yet so the pieces are too large and hard to chew. I tried to soften it with water, but it doesn't soften quickly or easily. Going to have to pass on this until he is older. Eukanuba is a good brand, so I'm really bummed it isn't working for our pup right now. We will have to try again once he has all his adult teeth.

Delivery is consistently fast & accurate. Eukanuba seems to be a solid product. My boy has been on it since he was weaned off of mum. He likes the taste, it keeps him full, & hes always got a shiny coat. Hes a healthy, in shape, Labrador.

When I had my dog shipped from overseas he was still a puppy and he had so many gastrointestinal problems plus he had gotten very sick from the flight. Apparently when he landed in Portugal there were some issues with cleanliness as well as severe extreme weather. When he got here I was going to feed him when I feed all of my dogs, bravo or one of the other frozen meats. He was not able to tolerate that so I made a telephone call to Texas A&M gastrointestinal lab and they were the ones that recommended this product. I was a little leery at first because of all the bad publicity but to be perfectly honest he is now a 7 1/2 month old beautiful German Shepherd hitting just about 75 pounds. The product is good for variety reasons and being the gastrointestinal lab said it came packed with probiotic and FOS which in layman's terms is fructooligosaccharides, I figured I would give the product a chance. As with all foods people need to give a dog food at least a couple of months to see if it is the proper food for their dog. This one has definitely been a lifesaver.
Our yellow lab puppy has done really well with Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy food! At 17 months she is strong and healthy (plays hard and runs like the wind!) with a beautiful coat and has always been at a "just right" weight. She can occasionally be disinterested in her food so we recently tried mixing in just a couple tablespoons of the Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy canned food (mixed grill chicken and beef in gravy). She loves it! Our breeder at Sunnyview Labs highly recommends only Eukanuba, and we can see why. Please keep up the great work, and Thank you!!
Our pup is a very picky eater. After 4-5 different foods and discovering an allergy to beef, my vet recommended that we try Eukanuba. I am impressed! This is the first food that he has eaten happily without any additions to it and this mama is ecstatic over it! He is now gaining weight nicely and I can already see an improvement in his coat in only 3 weeks!*Disclaimer*1. All other foods were premium quality foods too. Both processed kibble and freeze dried raw.2. When I say he is picky, I mean he straight up would not eat anything that didn't have a freeze dried meal topper over it. And I let him go several days with each food to test this. I also try to avoid sorghum.Instead of getting proper nutrition for my pup I had to feed chicken and rice for a month. I have a rescued 6 month old cane corso whose former owner recommended this food. Can’t say enough good things! My puppy loves his food. He’s in great shape and his coat is so shiny that people stop to remark on it when I take him out. He’s got great energy, muscle tone, and is at the right weight for his age.
The bag came broken. The package box is totally sealed, no tears or holes. Wonder how the bag inside the box being broken. Looks like chew points from pets or hole punches to me. Chewy definitely need to do more quality check before shipping out items.
