I love that it contains glucosamine and chondroitin, that's great for their joints. It contains all of the vitamins and minerals that they need to keep them healthy and happy. I noticed my Chihuahua was getting on the pudgy side and she was not active as before. I figured her old dog food was contributing to her weight gain so I looked in the store and saw Eukanuba Fit Body Weight Control dog food. I have tried a number of supposed weight control foods, some of them premium and expensive brands, for my now 13yr old labrador. Most showed no discernible results. I have found this Eukanuba food to be most effective in maintaining her weight, feeding her 2 cups per day (less than the recommended amount) but supplementing with carrot to slso help clean her teeth. Very happy after 2x14kg bags. The only change I would prefer is that it be in large kibble, not the current very small version.

Within the last year she started putting on more weight and not looking as healthy as she has in the past so we need to try something new. My dog eats Royal Canin Breed Specific for Cavalier King Charles Adult, but because there is a shortage on ingredients caused by the pandemic, etc., Royal Canin has suspended certain breed-specific dog foods temporarily, and had recommended this food for my dog. Actually she likes it and had no tummy issues when switching over to it. I was actually very surprised since she has finicky digestive issues. The kibble is small and she eats it dry with no problems at all. My vet told me she needed to lose 5 lbs. So far, she has lost 3 lbs. and needs to get down to 20 lbs. so she has 2 more lbs. to go. I feed her 1/3 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup in the evening. I do mix it with Royal Canin Small/Petite dry dog food which she likes as well.
