This grinder is great, could not fault it so far.The size looks great next to my Rancilio Silivia, and the colour scheme complements my new Australian Red Cedar espresso tamper from Etsy.

I wrote a review previously and a couple of days later all the reviews for this model were deleted, there used to be more than 10 reviews. Mine arrived in about a week, worked for a few days then died. After some help from the AB team we determined it wasn't me, it really was dead. They sent a courier to pick it up and determined there was a manufacturing fault - it was repaired by shop in Sydney and sent back. I bought this on recommendation to pair with the Cafelat Robot I also bought here, when it arrived I realised the fork was too narrow for the Robot basket, and the grind button is hard and round, so it's challenging to keep the basket pressed against it without moving around and making a mess. Grinds stay in the spout and fall on the bench, and there is no grind tray so you need to wipe after every grind. The timer is not really useful, as the amount of beans that fall through in the time is a bit random. If you have a standard home machine that fits the fork you'll probably be happy with the look of it, the grind quality, and the noise level - but I'd do some research first.

I’m fairly new to home coffee making and was recommended this grinder by the guys at AB to go with my newly purchased machine. Looks great on the side, works well and is quite compact compared to some of the higher end models. I used some scales to set the timed grind to the required dose, it then dispenses the right amount to my filter basket every time at the push of a button. Grind is consistent and with a little practice you can get it all in the basket without making a mess! Some other reviews complained about the noise and it might be worth paying the extra for the silenzio, but it’s no louder than boiling the kettle and really doesn’t bother me. Overall, good bit of kit for the money, a good first grinder.

Overall, it does an amazing job. I was after a good quality, nice-looking, compact and quiet grinder. Wanted just the important basics - grind size adjustment and simple timing control, don't need digital screens or fancy extras. I'd give 4.5 stars if that was an option. This one ticks all the boxes, except I can't help wondering if going one step up to the Silenzio would have made it even quieter. I can only compare to the Breville smart grinder pro and this one is quieter but not by much. I think Silenzio would have been worth the extra.
Was looking to replace a grinder that had failed me. Very happy with the performance of the grinder - grinds are very consistent and very fluffy. Where the last star is missing is some minor details, like not having something to catch excess grinds making clean up a bit more of a chore, and whilst the little adjustment wheel is less annoying than I thought it would be, it's still a bit of a chore and confusing if you ever want to move across to vastly different grind settings.
The Eureka Classico is an amazing grinder creating clump free fluffy grounds without the noise. Love using it every morning.
Works well for the price and does everything it needs to do for espresso. Huge improvement over my old Zassenhaus Kingston. The grinds clump just a little making it tricky to get 16g of coffee to fall into my portafilter so I might need a dosing cup to catch the grinds better.
I am very happy with my new grinder. I was a bit daunted when I read the manual but realised it was east to set up if you use it manually as I do. It is a lot quieter than my old Rancillio Rocky which was a nice surprise. Extremely easy to select the correct espresso grind. I was also extremely pleased that it arrived less than a week after I ordered it. It is such a pleasure to use and so nice to have a decent crema again. Excellent service and communication from the Alternative Brewing Team. Many thanks.
Super happy with the Eureka Mignon Classico. My purchase was initiated by the experience of a mate who’s been enjoying the Eureka Mignon Classico in his home setup for some time. The information video on the AB site was the clincher, so clear, very helpful. The Eureka Mignon Classico is adding to our coffee experience everyday and sits alongside our 20yr old Miss Sylvia to create the perfect partnership. Thank AB team. So happy with the process and the product, grateful to benefit from your experience.
I didn't need a fancy automatic or use timed features like that on the specialata but I wanted a quality grinder that would last and look great in my kitchen.I single dose and was really pleased at how low the retention is on this but I do intend to modify the hopper to add bellows at some point to further improve that.Only negative is that it is louder than I was expecting but coming from an integrated grinder that's rubbish in the BBE that's not a surprising change.
