European Expansion - Wingspan

Been waiting for this to come back in to stock, so glad you brought some more in! Bought it the moment I saw the notification that it was back. We already have the base game and the Oceania expansion. I love the new variety of birds, and all their new powers, especially the new end of round powers, which change your strategy quite a lot. Love it!

works nicely with original introducing new birds and more options in bonus cards. If I were to choose however I would get the Oceania expansion to get the new nectar food type and new boards. I have played this game so many times the bird house dice feeder has disintegrated however you can buy replacements from the US which are solid (3d printed?) and have magnets to hold the two parts together.

A necessary accessory!

If you like Wingspan, this is a must. As the main box set, the pieces, cards, and storage box are top quality. Plus, shipping was fast!

Amazing game

It's fun packed in a box. It's like D&D turned into in a board game, with cards instead of dice and DM. Takes time to unbox and set up (huge amount of token and cards), but this is fun too. Quality of parts is top notch. Gameplay is amazingly designed. You can choose how much you role play, but you can definitively role play if you want. Feels like a campaign setting for D&D.

European Wingspan

Additional bird powers add a little extra strategy to the game. More abilities to increase player interaction as well. The automa is still very hard to beat but runs easily and quickly. Complexity has not changed and my whole family still enjoys playing. Excellent production value.

Mixed bag of birds

There are a lot of birds in this expansion, and some of them can really affect the scoring of the original game. It does open up a lot of new possible strategies and playing options. That said, you can easily play the whole game without getting many, or any, of them, and that can prove to be a balance issue, from time to time. Overall, a worthwhile expansion, and good for any regular player of the game. Not to be added for first-time players.

Neverseen European birds

I havent played the expansion yet but I like the Main game Wingspan so Im sure itwill be fun too. I am an avid birder so this collection is super. I have learned a few morethings about birds I didnt know. And will enjoy seeing what birds are over in Europe.

Nice addition

Wingspan was already a ‘complete’ game, in my opinion, but this addition adds some nice touches. This expansion is simply more of the same goodness: adding some extra tokens, eggs, storage bins, and end of round tokens. Then it adds more cards. So many more cards that it included another card storage. The deck was already unwieldy to shuffle, and with so many cards you’re likely to never even see the new cards until you’ve milled through the several piles of cards. The best addition of cards is fresh green objective cards, of which the base game really lacked. If you love Wingspan, you’ll also enjoy this expansion to compliment the base game.

Wingspan European Expansion

Definitely worth it! Adds another dimension to the game with different bird powers and end of round goals. Really good quality as with original game and nice having birds that are local to us as well.

Wingspan and it's expansions are a great game to sit down and play. There are multiple levels of strategy that go into every single turn, and one mistake could cost you the entire game! Endless playability with the expansions, and a visually stunning game. Was very happy to play and introduce to my core player group.
