Having had a few of these in different cars, it was a no-brainer my Hilux would get one.Ute is some much more pleasant to drive.I’ve found the AC setting in combination with Eco mode works best for me.

This will be an issue for me. I have yet to fully run it in ‘Factory Settings’. Perhaps a longer trip in ‘Eco’ mode might change things, but it appears not.If you want better throttle response, and are towing a large caravan as we are, then this might suit you, be prepared to possibly use extra fuel though.

This is a very impressive device. Easy to install and the difference is noticeable straight away.It's worth playing around with the settings as the higher ends are very sensitive..
Easy to install. Made a big difference to throttle response. Did exactly what I wanted as I couldn't select sport mode as a default on start up on my car. This now gives me sport mode throttle response all the time. Gear box is also kicking down to the right gear more often.
Wasn't a believer until I tried one on a friends car. Surprised how much throttle lag was removed. Easy to fit with a few basic tools. Find U2 or U3 to be perfect for everday driving. Definitely worth the money, can't wait to tow my van next week.
I bought this little plug n play beauty not expecting much but it ended up being the best couple hungy I’ve spent on my car other than fuel! In economy mode on 9 it launches like a turtle but it ultimate mode on 9 it launches like a rocket. I’ll definitely have to put it in normal mode for the missus otherwise she’ll be smashing into cars at woolies!
This things does as it claims, on intimate 9 brings the throttle on swift and hard, on eco 9 turns the car into a slow moving sloth on wheels and automatic well it has an mind of its own. Installed on 2021 BT50, which really had no throttle lag from a standing start. Brought the controller to help when towing.I think set at 9 in ultimate mode and even lower, it plays havoc with the stability & traction control, etc. From the little bit of playing I've done with it, the throttle comes on that hard the cars safety system cannot react properly.But it does what it claims. Is the car better off with or without it mmmmmm I don't known. For this car I would not buy it again.
Great little gadget, had read about it but never thought to try until a friend recommended it. Installed it on my Prado and WOW!! What a difference it made, the response on the acceleration is amazing, left it set on auto and it works a treat. If you want more oomph then set it to Ultimate and this works very well too. Very happy with it
