I bought this for my 2017 Ranger. I had high expectations after the reviews I had seen of it and let me tell you, they are all 100% true! It makes a huge difference to the power of your vehicle and when it's accessible! I love it!

Best buy ever! Immediate and NOTICEABLE change in throttle response. It does exactly as it is advertised. Only pitful was the double sided tape to mount. My ranger doesnt have many flat places to mount and hide the cable. Tape was not holding the unit but i have plenty of stronger tape.
Works as described but not a silver bullet for power. It doesn't give you more power (fact) just utilises the already available power the vehicle has. It shorten the response time from when you put your foot on the pedal to power being delivered to the drive wheels. Be warned this can cause some concern if the vehicle in front slows unexpectedly. I purchased the EVC Throttle Controller - EVC622L for when I tow a camper trailer to facilitate overtaking and hill climbs, as I generally have no need for it around town as I don't suffer "Turbo Lag" and I don't own a race car.
Honestly every car (Ford Ranger) should have one! Better control and makes the driving experience a whole lot better. It removes the sluggish and over acceleration to get up to speed around busy roads.
Just fitted one to my Ford Ranger PX3. Wow. How much better is it when you put your foot down. No more throttle lag. Very happy
Great product. Instant improvement in my rangers acceleration after a 10 minute install. The click and collect process worked seamlessly
Instant response. Overall very happy. It doesn’t like being switched off -/- and plays around with my ECU warnings so I just leave it on AC. A learned hack with using the ECO Mode, I use mine when on cruise control and accelerate using cruise control vs accelerator which is very unresponsive in ECO mode. Means I get the throttle response I need and the fuel economy on the highway I love. As low as 7.7L/100 so far.
Depending on what car you have is what type of throttle controller you will need. But it is a real great product. Especially for towing or for that extra push up hills.
