Everest (4K UHD/Blu-ray/UV)

(180 reviews)

On the morning of May 10, 1996, climbers (Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin) from two expeditions start their final ascent toward the summit of Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. With little warning, a violent storm strikes the mountain, engulfing the adventurers in one of the fiercest blizzards ever encountered by man. Challenged by the harshest conditions imaginable, the teams must endure blistering winds and freezing temperatures in an epic battle to survive against nearly impossible odds.

Brilliant. Tense. Awesome.

Everest is a fantastic film, and this is absolutely the best way to watch it. The HDR implementation is brilliant, and the Atmos soundtrack adds another layer of realism (you'll
be shivering with the sound of blistering winds washing over the top of you). Highly recommended!

Good visuals but other than that pretty lame.

I get the this film was based on true events and I understand they wanted to get to the top of the mountain and that's all well, the plot was pretty lame and before you know it,
the end credits came up and I'm like, is that it? felt like it needed more and as it stands it felt unfinished. Won't be something I would rewatch so it will go to goodwill.
