Purchased 46 items plus in November 2021, installed by plumbers and concreter late November 2021on a newly built home. Rust started to show mid January 2022. Told by Bunnings and Everhard warranty was invalid as lived in a coasted area, was not informed by or given a specifications sheet on galvanised quality and subsequently told by Everhard to purchase their polymer grates at my expense. If you search all reviews 98% of consumers are very dissatisfied with this product counting those consumers nowhere near a coastal area. Look up the definition of GALVANISED Metal, to help prevent the incursion of RUST. Would not recommend this product at all.

Installed a metre of this drain at the end of a fairly unused pathway. it went in easily and does catch the water and directs it straight into the pipe. The only major flaw is that the entire galvanized grate has rusted to the point of no return. as the path it not used it has had next to no foot traffic so hasn't been subjected to wear and tear, it is just really bad galvanizing which does not meet the real world requirements of being called galvanized.

surface rust will occur with 304 stainless. It doesnt mean it will rust right through so the product is still ok if you dont mind seeing surface rust. You have to use 316 grade stainless if you want a perfect long term look
Very unhappy with the poor quality of these. Have been in place maybe 2 years? And have rusted so badly some grates have fallen in. Channels seem fine. Not ideal for a product that is concreted in place. Can’t seem to find replacement grates separately either, but will replacing with the polymer plastic if I do.
I read I'm not the only one to find this junk rusting away prematurely. Isn't a galvanized coating supposed to imply it will last longer than a few years? There's no salty or moist environment, there's no excuse, it's not fit for purpose.
As someone noted earlier, poor galvanising so half of my strip drain is rusted just over 1 year after install and I also live nowhere near the ocean. Who would have known the warranty for the galvanised grate is only 1 year. Everhard knows its poor quality and that is why it is only 1 year whilst the plastic is 5 years. Shameful and shameful for bunnings to stock these as who would expect to need to replace them after just 1 year? Now where do I get replacements?

Yes - rusted in just over a year also like others. Contacted Everhard and unfortunately they would not assist. Do not live in coastal area and nowhere near pool. Suggest Bunnings look at this quality
Having to buy another set of drain sections just so I can replace all the rusted out grates. Not only poor quality but dangerous as when they collapse after rusting they have sharp edges, especially dangerous for children.
