1910 Classic Training Gloves

I bought the 1910 Classic Training Gloves and I could barely fit my hands in the gloves without hand wraps. I called everlast customer service to try to exchange them for another style. The customer service representative was extremely unhelpful. The return process is a headache so I won’t even bother returning them. I am very disappointed I have always used everlast gloves and other equipment. Everlast representatives don’t seem to care if you order from the company anymore so I will try another brand. Very disappointing!!!!

Too tight. I have, I would say, medium size hands. The gloves were difficult to put on without wraps and impossible with wraps. Otherwise a beautiful product. I gave them to my diminutive trainer who even with small hands thought they were tight.

The material is soft. The lining is also nice and breathable. My only issue is the finger pockets aren’t deep enough causing the palm to not line up properly and the bottom of the thumb is exposed. With hand wraps it get too tight After a few rounds the hand begins to go numb because of the elastic positioning. I don’t recommend the glove to people with longer fingers or thicker hands. The glove will be too small and tight

Excellent gloves at reasonable price
5 November 2022

Excellent gloves at reasonable price. Got these as I was getting bruising on my knuckles from a pair of sting gloves. They're a much better fit, with padding in the right places. Haven't had any knuckle issues since. Lightweight and comfortable. Quite stiff at first but will be fine after some wearing in.

GREAT SPARRING GLOVES!!
7 October 2021

very soft pillow style glove.the space between my knuckles and the contact point is huge . if i push it really hard, i can’t feel my knuckle at all. theres a solid 2 inches of padding between the target and my knuckles.really bouncy material but when i hit something i still feel descent bounce.its good for any boxer or anyone likes to land heavy shots.the padding is excellent for sparring. they do feel really good on the bags as well.its huge so you can parry shots and catch shots a lot. but it doesnt feel too big.the longer forearms provides great wrist support.nice amount of padding on the back of the wrist area, almost an inch of padding.nice padding on palm, both sides.it protects your knuckle, thumb, wrist.you are really helping your sparring partner ... Morevery soft pillow style glove.the space between my knuckles and the contact point is huge . if i push it really hard, i can’t feel my knuckle at all. theres a solid 2 inches of padding between the target and my knuckles.really bouncy material but when i hit something i still feel descent bounce.its good for any boxer or anyone likes to land heavy shots.the padding is excellent for sparring. they do feel really good on the bags as well.its huge so you can parry shots and catch shots a lot. but it doesnt feel too big.the longer forearms provides great wrist support.nice amount of padding on the back of the wrist area, almost an inch of padding.nice padding on palm, both sides.it protects your knuckle, thumb, wrist.you are really helping your sparring partner because of how soft the glove is.drawback is maybe you won’t feel much impact when you hit things and you won’t get much of a good impact anyway that you might look for in a punchers glove.everlast always does a good job with laces. they come with the perfect lace length.they do need to be broken in.comes with everlast nice carrying bag.very durable and very comfortable, very high quality leather. good balance, fits great.Love them and would definitely recommend.

Great mid to high level training glove (2 months of use)
13 November 2018

I was a little skeptical of buying these because buying things from Everlast can sometimes be a hit and miss. In general, I was very impressed with the glove. It feels like a punchers glove to me, the leather and padding is really well put together and the stitching has held up. My biggest complaint is that the hand compartment is just a little too small. Most companies change the sizing depending on the oz of the glove but I notice Everlast holds true to this more than other companies. It stretches out after about a week of continuous use. The padding has held up great and is overall a great feel when I hit the mitts, shield, or any kind of bag. I have not tried sparring with these yet but one of my students tried them in sparring and said they feel good too. ... MoreI was a little skeptical of buying these because buying things from Everlast can sometimes be a hit and miss. Much smaller than the Elite Training Gloves
5 December 2022

Really like these, they look great and the leather seems like better quality than some of the other gloves. Only thing is they are definitely a bit smaller on the inside. I’m 5’-9” 160lb and the 16 oz. fit well on me, but if you’re a lot bigger I would not recommend. I’m mainly comparing to the 16oz. Elite training gloves which I have too.

ROOK1 ON CLASSIC GLOVES
22 April 2020

I bought the 1910 classic sparring gloves. They are superb - one of the best gloves I have ever used over the past 30 years. They may be the very best. Very high quality leather. I use them regularly for shadow boxing, speed bag work, pounding “BOB,” heavy bag work, mitt work, etc.I first purchased a pair ofblack 12 oz classics.I loved them! Then I bought a pair ofwhite 14 oz classics.I will almost surely get a pair of16 oz classics.GO EVERLAST!!!!

Top Notch Gloves

I had a hard time finding reviews for these specific gloves online, about the only reviewer for the high end gloves was a youtube channel in Russian and only having two semesters of Russian I am a little rusty so hopefully this review will be helpful. First Everlast are my favorite pair of training gloves, I purchased some mid/high end gloves years ago that have 1416 printed on the glove and PO#1237, I liked them so much I bought a half dozen of them to last me a while, but the time has come to get some new ones and thought these might be the same level of quality. The Classic Sparring are quality gloves, very well made, they come in their own carry bag which is kind of cool. The Classic Sparring are quality gloves, very well made, they come in their own carry bag which is kind of cool. The padding is very VERY thick on these if you have any concerns about your hands these gloves will protect them. I have only used them on the heavy bag once so far and they do need to be broken in. That being said I would only wear these to spar against people I am pretty affectionate towards. They are Pillows. I would consider them almost as soft as my Winnings. Everlast has also moved away from the silk lining to a more kind of nylon/rayon liner which will hopefully not tear as easily as the silk linings did, the strap is not elastic so pulling the strap across to get it extra snug is not possible, the wrist coverage is good, not going up halfway to the elbows like my Reyes, but enough to support your wrist so you don't accidentally sprain anything if your hook is off on a shot. The stitch work appears to be very good as well, and these gloves have the same well formed shape around the fist that lets you really connect with your target. They are not cheap as I'm sure if you are reading this review you can tell. but from my initial use of these gloves they do seem to be worth the extra you are putting out for a top of the line glove.

Would not recommend
26 August 2020

Everlast has been my go to glove for YEARS!!! I was super excited to get these and very disappointed when they arrived. The quality of old that everlast is known for has dropped significantly. I saw this even in the powerlock gloves but they were good enough. I probably purchased at least 4 pairs of powerlocks and then i didn't even want to try these 1910 gloves on, thats how disappointed i was. Have never worn another glove other than everlast. Just purchased another brand within minutes of receiving these gloves for the first time ever. We'll see if i purchase everlast again. SMH - how much i loved Everlast. Kinda sad.
