I buy this for my training and have been awesome , they are comfortable and good enough . The price is okay , it worth it !! What I like the most is it came with use instructions. I would recommend this to the people who start training

I purchase of a pair of these gloves a little over a year ago. Then I decided to leave a pair at my gym and purchase another pair- exactly the same as my first pair.WHAT A DIFERENCE- The leather around the cuffs is brittle and cheap- the stitching poor and the fit uncomfortable.YET THE PRICE WAS much higher than the first pair....It's too bad that Everlast has fallen into that Manufacturers Model of "Value Engineering" and lowering their quality standards.

Our 13 year old(special needs) just loves them. He says they are comfortable and still do the job he wants. He wants a second pair for his brother so they can work out together. I would recommend these to anyone. The staff at Rebel at Ipswich were great

Okay, so granted I’ve had my set for almost four years now and they’ve got some mileage. Mine I bout early 2018 and well after some time which I’d guess approximately 2 years of use, the thin leather started to tear away from the grip bar. As for the knuckle area, it took a lot of shoves hooks and rapid punches to make those begin to tear up. I’ve kept my set as a keep sake and will be putting them on a wall or somewhere to remind me where my MMA root started and to be proud of how far I’ve come training wise.
the gloves are okay for striking and grappling but are far from perfect, when grappling with them you won’t have the motion in your wrists and fingers that other gloves will give you. While striking I feel non restricted but the indent between the knuckle padding and the palm padding will make it feel un-natural, just takes some time to get used to. Not the best MMA gloves but a very good starter pair and very fairly priced.
There are a lot of options for MMA gloves at this price point, but these are some of the better ones I've used. They have good padding over the knuckles, hands and thumbs so they are great for sparring and training. They also have good wrist support with wrap around bands that let you forego dedicated wraps for training. They have a nice comfortable fit whilst still allowing for ease of movement - grappling, takedowns, submissions and striking are all easy. Honestly, it's easy to forget you're wearing them which is one of the signs of great gloves. There are higher quality options for sure, but until you get up to the $85+ range, these do a great job for training and sparring.
These gloves are incredible they allow for adaptation in martial arts, training punches, and grappling not just for mma im a traditional martail artist and find great use in these gloves
If u use these for heavy bag training, ur knuckles will pay the price. Just don’t go full bore on the heavy bag, would be my advice. Also, these fit tight, and I wish they made them in a larger size. Overall tho, decent construction, and padding, just not great for all-out heavy bag sessions. If they weren’t so tight, I would use hand wraps underneath, but as it is, I can barely get them on my hands. Maybe a different experience for those with smaller hands than mine?
I was excited to receive these gloves. I only had used the gloves about five times in the week I received them and immediately the stitching around the index finger of the right glove had completely come apart. The velcro that binds the wrist straps together had completely dissipated creating a none secure interlocking of the velcro materials. I was very disappointed.
light sparring to bag work to drills, these gloves protect your hand nicely but don't impede movement/grappling. and they aren't very padded, not boxing gloves at all. if you wear a mouth guard though, these are safe enough for a lot of light sparring, and there's no question as far as grappling goes. for training, I'd recommend MMA sparring gloves for the extra weight and padding that trains your punches to be harder. I am not a fan of boxing gloves and these work for me but you really do need the sparring gloves to train punches safely.
