These gloves are stylish and give decent wrist support. But, the knuckle support is not great when hitting the bag. You really feel the impact on your knuckles when you are throwing power punches. Give your knuckles extra wrapping up before working the bag. Overall, the gloves are not bad for the price.

I think the craftsmanship and quality of the gloves are excellent. However, my gloves do have a major defect! There is something wrong with the thumb area for the left glove. My left glove is unbearably painful to wear and train in.Initially, I thought that if I just wore the gloves without my wraps, I could just break in my gloves, create space, and the discomfort would just go away. Unfortunately, I had to remove my gloves several times during my last training session because I just couldn't take the pain. These are 18 oz gloves, and I don't have a problem fitting any other gloves 18 oz or less from other brands. This was a huge disappointment. Everything else about these gloves are perfect, but I also notice this is a reoccurring complaint. Everlast has other ... MoreI think the craftsmanship and quality of the gloves are excellent. Everlast has other high-end gloves I would love to purchase, but I purposely avoiding doing so because of complaints I read regarding the thumb areas ruining the comfort of the gloves. I didn't see those same complaints for these gloves, but I guess I got a bad pair.

I purchased shoes that I already have used before and knew that they would fit. The powerlock2 training gloves were too small and not what I was looking for. I’m not a big guy. 5-10, 170, thin build and the 14 oz gloves barely fit without wraps. With wraps would not even get my hands in the gloves. The good news was Everlast returned my payment once I sent the gloves back.

Absolutey garbage gloves. Bought these not even 5 months ago and the velcro has begun to wear off to the point of not being strappable anymore. They constantly come undone during training, very frustrating. Do not buy these if you intend to actually use them.
I tried on many styles in store. I enjoyed these the most because the wrist velcro's all the way around giving a better fit. I originally got the 14oz but exchanged for the 16oz so they fit more comfortably over my wraps. Great basic glove.
I've been boxing for about 7 years now and I've continued by now turning professional. This is my second year fighting professionally and I have gone through countless pairs of gloves in my years both from sparring and bag gloves. So far I can honestly say that the powerlock lace up training gloves have been one of my top favorite sparring gloves to date. I like them because they provide really good support and protection while sparring. The low profile of the gloves are great because I don't feel that they are too bulky or too big. I'm on my 3rd pair already. I really liked them, I am a featherweight so I wear 14 oz gloves for sparring. I liked the new gold and black or gold and white glove combo. I've owned them both already and found that the gold material for the black and gold gloves tend to chip away and isn't the greatest quality but hopefully they change that. I found that the material of the white and gold gloves seemed to work best since the gold part of the gloves didn't "chip" away after about a month of continuous weekly use. The gold material of the gloves did work pretty well on the white and gold gloves but after almost 2 months the gold color did begin to fade away though. The quality of the padding of the gloves is really great and offers great protection aside from the gold paint issues.

I'm really disappointed with my Everlast gloves... They're been sewn so poorly that, right after my 2nd training thread started gettin ripped. I believed in quality of brand Everlast, but in the end it got me deeply disappointed,I had to ask my friend who's in the US to order them and then send'em to me to Europe, coz they're here unavailable, so I had to pay expensive post taxes. It isnt worth its cost
Love these well fitting, quality gloves. They are adequately padded & Lightweight, so are super comfortable even after a decent session on a bag and pads. Had the same gloves previously and used several times a week and they lasted about 4 years. They look great too 😍
These gloves are horribly made. After two weeks of use, they completely fell apart. Used only on a heavy bag 10-12 times. Sticking from the thumb to the glove came separated and ripped open about 7 inches. Insides fall out. Paying $70 for a pair of gloves, you'd like to think you'd get more than a handful of uses out of them. Contacted Dicks Sporting Goods and was told I should have purchased an extended warranty on the gloves and they're not responsible for the products they sell in their stores. Unbelievable. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
