I returned it and bought the more expensive pro bag. This bag is fine for most punches, it does rebound a lot. Though, first time I kicked the bag it fell over (it was filled with as much water as it can hold, I wouldn't recommend sand as it would be a nightmare to ever get out if you needed to). Low kicks and medium kicks knocked it over every time. If you want a bag for kicking, I wouldn't recommend this bag. Even though it looks like it's designed for kicks it's not. The more expensive Everlast Pro bag is much heavier when filled and works with kicks.

The everlast target boxing bag was purchased for my 13 year old son but the whole family has been loving using it. It was easy to set up and move around when needed. Having the strike targets assists in keeping your combinations interesting and helps with focusing on where you are striking. This purchase has been a winner in our family! We all use it every day.

Bought this item for a keen and talented 9 year old. It’s a great weighted product that provides great skills training. Sand in one half of the base and water in the other was necessary to minimise base movement. The young fella has been on it 2-3 times a day for a couple of weeks now and it’s standing up to plenty of punches and solid kicks. Great product.

Ive only had it for a month and it is not holding together. The padding is breaking up. You can see from the photos all the padding coming out the bottom. When you feel it it feels brittle. Like a really old sofa cushion. I suspect this one was an old one sitting in the back of the warehouse and the padding has hardened up. There is padding all over the floor from it. It has torn away from the inner pole and now moves about 30cm up the pole. In the picture you can see where I lifted that the padding has torn from the glue. I am not sure what is holding it on from the rest of the way but i have now had to tape the bottom of the pad to the pole so the product is usable. Pretty disappointed with this product. I recommend looking at other companies as they may keep their stock in better order.
Great for the kids to bash around. Filling the base with sand was a bit of a fiddle - definitely use dry sand if you can find any. The kids managed to make it permanently slightly lopsided by bending it all the way to the ground and standing on it. Not a big problem, and the kids don't seem to mind.
We filled the base with gravel using a tablespoon, it did take abit long. We are thinking of adding sand also, this will make it heavier. I would not recommend filling the base with water as the entire punching bag does topple over whilst punching it with force. Suitable for all ages. Great for taking out frustration lol.
This is a great boxing bag that we purchased for our 11 year old. He and his 8 year old brother are very much enjoying the bag and use it to practice their tae kwon do. My only criticism is that it was incredibly difficult to fill with sand. The hole wasn't big enough and it took us forever. We ended up giving up on the sand and filling it with water. Not sure how it is going to last though.
My 13 yr old son absolutely loves this boxing bag, using it daily, it is highly durable & doesn't take up much space in the home. It is definitely a great way to release stress & tension. The size makes it easy to store away not taking up much space in the home.Highly recommended for all ages.
I bought this for my Grandson 10 months, he doesn't use it that much,maybe the odd hour once a week. After a few months the filling started to come out the bottom of it where the spring goes in. It gets worse each time he uses it and makes a right mess. It's like little bits of foam. Now the top of the bag has lost its padding too. I contacted Sports Direct and because its more than 6 months old, they said I have to get seek an independent inspection and provide them with the inspection report on letter headed paper after the fact to prove its faulty. I contacted some places but they were no help, so I am stuck with it.DO NOT BUY THIS PUNCH BAG,RUBBISH SERVICE FROM SPORTS DIRECT.
i bought this punching bag and i kept using it nonstop its great for my training, and its good for my martial arts practice. I'm super obsessed and cannot stop punching and kicking the best ever punching system super awesome. definitely a 5 star the best ever thank you guys.
