After being on the gpu hunt for a while, I stumbled upon the opportunity to purchase this card at the Tustin Microcenter via a raffle during reopening week. And wow, this thing has been a dream so far. It is a part of the first Pc I've ever built, and I've been able to run every game I want at 1080p at the highest settings, and the EVGA gpu management software is perfect for capping frames/power and setting fan curves for playing graphics intensive games like New World. My motherboard is Gigabyte, and the RGB settings aren't affected by running the EVGA software concurrently with RGB fusion, which is a compatibility issue I've heard of with Asus software. Pros:- The only desired card I can buy when I arrived. It's a pro that I can get it.- Good gaming experience, with up to 300fps in mid-high setting of Rainbow Six Siege under 1080p, for example.- The price is normal, generallyCons- It's a more expensive but LHR version. The other FTWhas a slightly different part number ending KB instead of KH for this one, although the specs look exactly the same, and without LHR labelled.- Coil Whine starts within 4 days of usage, with less than 10 hours of gaming time and 0 hour mining.- The RMA process requires customer to ship the card to California, which is far away from where I am(Toronto), it's slow and expensive unless we choose to pay collateral (a huge amount!) for a cross ship. Finally found a new card that was not overpriced by much more then MSRP. I upgraded from a EVGA RTX 2060 super ultra which I loved but was ready for the next level. I dont have a 4K monitor so I cant say much about 4K gaming but it handled everything perfectly in 2k. Even playing war thunder max settings online the card did not drop in performance at all. EVGA has great overclocking software and backed by a great company warranty. I am very happy so far with my purchase. Only thing Id have to say is measure your case because if you dont have anything mid size or bigger you may have trouble fitting it.

The EVGA RTX 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra is a great card, preforms well and looks good. Only thing is its about 2 or 3 hundrad dollars over priced at the moment... Oh well, I personally believe that this is the new normal and graphic card prices will remain the same if not better or worse. If it does go back to normal (some what) it probably won't be until mid to late next year. You can either buy a some what good GPU right now and wait till prices get better and buy the 3060 Ti or just out right buy it for its current price. Either way, seems like it doesn't really matter. Thanks Nvidia! Well that's my rant over now. Cheers!
Card preforms as expected and handles game sections that would chug on my older card much better, and DLSS is great for high resolution gaming. Upgrading from a 1070Ti, this was a good step forward. Better frame rates, higher detail settings, but also higher power draw. I could finally run GR: Wildlands and No Man's Sky at max detail without much trouble. However, on its own, the card's fans will stop completely if the card isn't running warm. That would be fine, except when they spin up, they often make a cranking noise. Given they might spin up and stop several times when doing general tasks, this gets annoying fast. I returned a previous card for the issue but this seems to be the way of things. It can be prevented by using EVGA Precision X1 software to manually set a fan curve. You'll still hear it when the fans first spin up, but after that the software can keep them moving if even at a low speed and you shouldn't hear it again. Annoying I had to find a solution for this, but at least it works. Overall a solid card, paired it with a Ryzen 9 3900XT and a x570 motherboard and 750W power supply. No issues in the weeks since purchase (besides the fan spin up noise).
The 3060Ti hits the sweet spot for a mid-range gaming card in the Nvidia Ampere lineup. And EVGA has probably done the best job of any of the manufacturers at keeping prices relatively sane, all while offering great customer service and options like extended warranties and their step-up program. Sure, the FE version is cheaper, but good luck getting one of those. There aren't too many downsides to the card (other than availability, obviously). Nitpicks would be size given the 3 fans so it could be a tight fit in some cases, though it should cool better than the 2-fan versions. Also, the RGB is a little weak if you're into that sort of thing.
Won a Newegg Shuffle to buy mine and got it just a few days before my birthday! Having said that... First off? Like many recent high-end GPUs, this is a hefty one in weight, in size and in power requirements. Fortunately, most mid-size tower cases made in the past 4-5 years shouldn't have a problem, but if your case has any drive enclosures close to your GPU slots, I highly recommend making sure that they either won't get in the way or that they're removable. Otherwise, you may need to buy a new case! Second, proper cable management is your friend when it comes to GPUs this big, especially in regards to your PSU. Some buyers may have to get creative with their cables, because in this instance, good cable management doesn't just improve air flow within your case. A ... Some buyers may have to get creative with their cables, because in this instance, good cable management doesn't just improve air flow within your case. A GPU this size will teach you not to be lazy about arranging the inside of your case very, very quickly. Third, potential buyers really, really should make sure that they have a solid PSU to feed this thing with. This wee beastie has TWO eight-pin connections for supplementary power from your PSU. Yeah. You read that correctly, this is a hungry hungry hippo of a GPU (I shudder to imagine what the greater 30-series cards need in terms of power). 600 watts is apparently the recommended minimum, but I personally strongly recommend going with a 650-700 watt PSU instead for the average user, and if you have to buy a new PSU, you may want to consider making sure it has modular cable connections (do they even make non-modular PSUs anymore? Heck if I know). Less stress in the long run when it comes to that pesky cable management. One last thing. Look at your monitor. No, seriously, stop reading this review for a moment and go take a look, and specifically look at whatever cable you're using to connect your monitor to your current GPU. If it's an HDMI or a displayport cable, then you're golden. If it's DVI-D, you should consider either a different GPU, buying a new monitor, or grabbing an HDMI-to-DVI-D adapter. With all of that out of the way, now to the important stuff: how does this thing run? So far, like a dream. You know, the very good kind of dream that you can never talk to your parents or your significant other about, ever, involving six or seven of your favorite celebrities, a wading pool of baby oil and a funky 70s groove that's heavy on the base. I'm not one to pay attention to FPS or gorgeous graphics, but I've been consistently wowed by butter smooth framerates as well as gorgeous graphics in my newest games. If I could consider anything so far to be a problem, it would be, once again, the size. If you're not used to GPUs this big, then brace yourself for a crash course in dealing with modern graphics cards, because this thing will educate you and it brought a yard stick to smack you with if you don't pay attention. When it comes to noise I have no complaints, largely because I've yet to notice anything worth complaining about (plus some of the fans in my PC might be too noisy in comparison to hear anything notable). On the other hand, I've yet to really stress test it. Not that I want to, or am even able to. Heck, I don't even own a copy of Crysis.
I am a newbie to the gaming world and after watching a few friends play first person shooter games like EFT I was hooked. We took a trip to microcenter and decided to get a setup for me. I knew absolutely nothing about what I needed. I brought a friend who was fairly knowledgeable to help. Our salesperson was direct and courteous with his answers, allowing me time to process info and make decisions. This product has been stellar in cooling capacity and handles the games I am interested in playing. It also runs super quiet and case itself looks very streamline. I highly recommend this product for gamers of all levels. It will not disappoint!
Runs games smoothly and don't forget to have a monitor that can make the most of card like this. Can be used for hardware acceleration in Adobe programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop (not sure about Indesign). Also compatible for acceleration with Rhinoceros 7 although you could get a workstation card.Tip for everyone: if you accidentally uninstall the nvidia control panel (like I did) go to the Microsoft Store Library to reinstall it.
