This is the third time I have purchased this item for staff, who are very happy with the multi function capacity of this unit and also the ergonomic design. Staff have tried other ergonomic units on the market and in their opinion this is the only one that ticks all the boxes. Also, it is a bonus that orders are delivered within a few days.

In terms of comfort and ergonomic design, this vertical mouse is absolutely outstanding. However I was quite disappointed that the drivers for Mac OS are so out of date that it basically only functions as a two button mouse, instead of the six customizable buttons that it ought to have. It's probably fine for Windows, but for a Mac using anything later than OS 10.13, forget about it.

I have used this brand of vertical mouse for years at work and supplied by my employer following a RSI injury. This vertical mouse is so good I decided to buy one for home use too.
I liked the feel of the mouse and the multiple buttons. However, the right click and double click buttons are too hard to press. One aspect of an ergonomic mouse should be ease of clicking, to keep your arm from tiring, especially if youre using it all day.
Due to nerve damage in my arm and subsequent surgeries in April, I need to switch to a vertical mouse. A conventional one is just too painful. I bought the wireless, size small. It fits my hand perfectly and mine measures 6 1/2 inches from tip of middle finger to crease in wrist. Really alleviates a lot of pain. My only complaint is the 3rd or bottom button. Not necessary for day to day use and a pain to click it. Wish it was just the 2 buttons normally used. A very expensive mouse but medically necessary for me.
Just received the brand new Prestige VM4RB Evoluent VerticalMouse 4 Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse, Right Hand from Wal*Mart. Connected to Mac, buttons are working but pointer is not moving. Tried everything. Called Evoluent support in middle of working day and answering machine says they are not available. Buy at your own risk.
I had this mouse for around 6 years before it started having issues. I suspect these issues only arose due to numerous drops onto hard surfaces over the years. It still worked, but I had to fiddle with the battery to get it to connect first thing after starting up my machineI replaced it with the exact same model because I like it so much. It's easy to use, comfortable, and I love the programmable buttons.
This is the second Evoluent mouse I have owned. They are the most comfortable truly ergonomic mouse on the market. I have tried several. As an architect I use a lot of design softwares that require a high level of mouse control, not unlike gaming. This mouse saved me from Carpal Tunnel syndrome after a string of long deadlines. It's expensive, but just as worth it as a truly comfortable desk chair. I highly recommend this for daily use.
the wireless Evoluent mouse which I got less than 2 months ago stopped working properly about a week ago. it cannot open any software smoothly. I have to click multiple times instead of single or double click to open a window. And I have to adjust my strength in pressing the mouse against the desk in order to drag the pointer along with it. Very disappointed with its quality. Hard to believe something was designed to have a life time of less than 2months.I used to own a wired Evoluent mouse before and it worked just great. So I guess I got a lemon this time
