Great tool. I burned up one saw because I was cutting 5/8" thick plate steel and was pushing the saw too hard. I was also using water to cool the blade while cutting. After a bit of this I realized that cooling the blade and the metal was probably counter productive. So after burning up the first saw I took it a bit slower without the water and the second saw has performed beautifully. I'll make a 30" cut and hope I don't blow the breaker. If the breaker blows I'll let it cool off for hours and then start again. I realize I'm outside the recommended specs for this machine but it still does the job. Great little tool.

This is one of the best purchases that I have made in a while. It is great for cutting 10 gauge sheet metal. Makes smooth, clean, cuts with no burrs and very little heat.

Awesome Saw. Works great for cutting 1/4in sheets of metal and flatbar. I was able to get a lot straighter and squarer cuts than using a portable bandsaw or angle grinder. Probable the fastest was to cut metal to. The metal stays cool to, you can actually touch the cut directly after cutting.

Had to cut 3/16 plate. I made numerous cuts and it cut easy, clean and smooth. I didn't have a cutting torch or plasma cutter so I tried this as an alternative. I'm glad I made this purchase.
Saw is outstanding. Cuts through mild steel with the same ease as cutting lumber with a wood cutting circular saw. I used it the first time today, cutting up to 1/2" thick mild steel with ease, I highly recommend this product for anyone doing structural steel work. If there is a drawback it is that seeing marks through the view window is difficult in all but the brightest lighting conditions. Maybe MFG could design an additional light to illuminate the cut area (blade is so well shielded that not much light can get to the cut). Even with that, I would still buy it again.
I really like the feel of this saw. It's powerful, lightweight and easy to handle. The compact size makes it portable, so I can take it anywhere. The new design is great and I can easily see my cutting path. Blade installation is simple and it cuts through everything with ease. I also like the fact that this saw accepts multiple types of blades for any job I need to tackle. I've been using it for over a month now and it helps me make perfect cuts every time.
If you are familiar with Evo saws, it works amazingly just like the rest. If you don't have experience with any of the Evolution tools, then this is a great place to start. Cuts effortlessly and cleanly.
I have only used it to cut 1/8" steel so far. I was amazed with the smooth cut and ease of use. It will definitely make cutting things easier in my home shop work. I saw it being used on a TV show cutting 1/4" or thicker sheet to fabricate large structures. That lead me to find them for sale and bought one. I do not regret the purchase.
You need to be aware you need to have a Very Good hold on Saw and it will put a LOT of sharp pits of metal out. It does come with and adaptor to hook to shop vacuum of which I have not tried yet and it appears holding on to the saw and having vac attached it would be hard to cut 4ft lengths like I was doing, It is best once you start a cut to complete not try to stop and start because it will kick back HARD. With out vac you will have a fair amount of clean up as the bits of steal spread all around the work area up to 10 ft or more.
I have to say this is a great saw. I have been cutting 1/4 inch mild steel plate so far about 24 ft still on the same blade and I am getting nice clean cuts. great buy and works as advertised.
