The Phantom is kind of like the A-10 Warthog: Not going to win any beauty contests but IS going to destroy anything that gets in its way!

Forget the rest of the reviews on here about sizing, I'm a UK 10 street and decided to go for this size as a first try, and I seriously couldn't fit into anything smaller. Excellent fit, really aggressive toe box that is large enough to not crush your little toe but still gives you a sharp enough edge to stand on the smallest of hold. I’ve used it mainly for indoor climbing and most people say it’s better outside, so to me it seem great in both. This is my second pair and I’ll likely buy more.
I've had these for a few months now, and while they feel great on my feet (if slightly narrow for my wide feet) and perform very well for me, the stitches on one of the tongues on my right shoe has started coming undone. I do love the compression closure and split tongues which allow for easy on/offs. The soles are stiffer than my zenists, but still quite sensitive.If it weren't for the stitching issue, I would rate them 5 stars.

My favorite elements of the Dragos are the sock-like comfortable fit. Also, the sticky rubber that came on them. However, thinking that I would like the soft and sensitive rubber, I've noticed that it was hard to be precise, and staying on small footholds was a hassle (and that also may just be my weaknesses showing). They are stifffffff In the toe, but these suckers are the best bouldering shoes this side of the Mississippi (which ever side of the Mississippi you?re on).Not your everyday climbing shoe/ training shoe ,but they do what they are supposed to do and they do it very well.I use them when I go bouldering outside and that?s it.I wear a 9.5-10 in regular shoes and got these in a 9 for the sung fit. They broke in well even with the stiff toe.
Expected greatest, but this shoe far exceeded my expectations. They're now my go-to for any overhang/vert boulder problems. The stiff-toe design is phenomenal for precise footwork on micro footholds.The shoe fits similar to the Shaman (street shoe size or a half size down depending on your foot/preference). Despite the shoe being nearly all rubber, you'll still get the same break in as the Shaman (not much, but small expansions in hotspots).
So far, so painful. . as usual I’ve been wearing these around the house and watching tv and they’ve really taken some wearing in before I was ready to try them out properly. I’ve now been climbing in them twice and I can already tell they’ll be very good. Tonnes of grip, a very assured strapping system and they fit my foot shape well. . when the painful part has gone these could be amazing.

The knuckles on my toes have a lot of pressure on them from the rubber on the toe. If you have climbed in Instinct VS's, then you have most likely experienced the blister you get on your big toe. It is the same feeling in these except on ALL of your toes lol. Honestly not bad when you're climbing but as soon as you try to walk around you'll feel it. As far as everything else, like I was saying the closure system really does help synch down on the fit.Overall- I've given the shoes a 5 based on a lot of things. Yes the shoe is very good on the performance end and has all the features i like to have on shoe, I'd be lying if i said Daniel woods & the general aesthetic of the shoe didnt play a pretty nice chunk of factoring. I feel very cool while i wear these shoes and for me, that is very important & does actually make me climb better (at least i think lol). I think this shoe works really well for anything you want to do. The only thing id be iffy on is maybe slab? I dont do much slab climbing but i would assume these would be just fine.
