Staples in gyms, clinics, studios and homes everywhere - Micro Bands are essentially Power Bands which are smaller in diameter thickness. Because of their size, shape and resistance they are well-suited to rehabilitation, prehab and activation drills. - Prehab exercises like 'hands on the clock' are an excellent way to warm up the whole shoulder musculature. Placing both hands through the Micro Band so it sits on the wrists, put both hands on the wall and point the fingers in different directions to one another, as the hands of the clock do to indicate the time.' Monster walks', where the band is looped around the ankles and you crab-walk sideways, are an excellent activation exercise for the gluteal muscles. - Finally, Micro Bands are an excellent way to teach formal cues, especially for an exercise like squatting. A common error when squatting is 'valgus collapse', or the knees coming together as the person descends. By looping a Micro Band around the legs just above the knees, it forces the squatter to keep the Band under tension by pushing the knees out forcing the correct muscle to fire. - Micro Bands are made using the same proprietary technology as Power Bands to ensure maximum durability and lifespan for each Band. Micro Bands are manufactured by laying the latex around and around allowing it to cure together- it's a slower process, but ensures top quality.

I bought this band as it was something nice and cheap to add to an order and i have to say this is the best piece of equipment i have bought to date! After watching the videos of the various potential uses i decided to apply it in my Lowbar squats, specifically to cue opening up my hips and keeping my knees out throughout the lower eccentric and full concentric portion of the lift. After the first session i INSTANTLY noticed a massive difference and after several more sessions i no longer have any instability in the hole. All it took to massively improve my form was a simple high quality yet cheap band placed just slightly below my knees. I can't thank you guys enough for this!

Much more comfortable on your legs compared to rubber. Have bought two sets of these now, durability still TBC but so far I'm really impressed and for the price they are an excellent addition to any commercial or home gym.

Handy resistance bands for when the Power Bands are impractical. I can now do resistance training anywhere, where gives me options when I can't transport my kettlebells or get to the gym.
Best investment I have ever made! The micro bands are fantastic for stability and building the smaller more forgotten muscles.ć Highly recommend this product to absolutely everyone looking to improve their performance.
The X Heavy band is the most frequently used band among the athletes I work with. The resistance typically gives athletes the most activation for exercises such as crabwalks.
Really high quality and perfect for my knee rehab exercises during lockdown. I snapped many bands in the past but this is great quality and so far so good!
I purchased the blue colour resistance band from Iron Edge a couple of weeks ago. ćThey have been serving their purpose, and really enjoying using them. ćIt is nice to use something like this that isn't necessarily a weighted product [eg. dumbbell / barbell], in order to target some specific areas that would otherwise be neglected.
The microbands are a great product which are suitable for many different applications, I like to use them mainly for various glute activation exercises in our movement prep for both training and games. Exercises such as clams, crab walks, single leg hip extensions. Also we have used them for scapular stability movements and other injury prevention exercises relevant to our sport including various hip adduction movements. They can also double as a great training tool for loading exercises such as squats to emphasise knee stability. Microbands have been a valuable addition to our conditioning program and have allowed us to both prepare our athletes better while also correct technique and movement deficiencies.
I have used the heavier weights of these microbands in the past and based on the description I was expecting the same material/quality as a powerband (which I love!), just smaller - however the extra light band is so thin and flimsy it is more like a theraband. Plus it continually rides up and is not comfortable to use - it's more like an elastic band really. Recommended this for my client but won't be doing that again.
