I have had cats all my life and as such have used quite a few different types of cat litter. This product is by far the best I have ever tried! It is truly worth the extra money because in the long run you end up buying less. The pellets don't absorb the urine and is absorbed into the pad which works like a baby's nappy. No mess, no smell. The pallets dry out the poos so all you need to do is scoop them out into a poo bag and dispose of. The pallets stay dry and clean! I cannot recommend this product more highly!! Simply the best on the market!!

Since I've been using the Ezi-Lock Odour system the cat smells have disappeared from our house. It's a brilliant system. We have 2 trays for our 4 cats and the pads seem to need changing twice per week. 2 weeks in and the pellets still seem clean. The solid waste is easy to scoop out and flush. Couldn't be happier!

Perhaps I have too discerning a nose or perhaps it is because I have a multicat household, but there are multiple litter boxes including a mix of Ezi Lockodour systems, wood pellet systems and clumping litter so it's not like it is taking the brunt of use. I also find the pads have a fragrant smell that when mixed with urine actually smells quite pungant, but only when you pull out the tray. I end up just replacing the pads with puppy pee pads, it's more economical and doesn't have that artificial smell. Wow. Game changer. I bought 2 litter systems for our 2 cats. Today is day 12 and I haven't even had to change the pads yet. Seriously NO SMELL. I have put up with smelly litter for 15 years. This stuff is awesome. Great price (on sale) and quick delivery.
I really like the dual layer litter system but it can easily be interchanged with other products. I've been swapping out the litter for paper litters and it works just fine (don't use small sized litters though they fall through the grates). These pellets are expensive and don't last as long as they claim and give quite a thin coverage out of one bag. The pee pads can also easily be interchanged for puppy pee pads or fleece liners.
Great system, I have 2 new SAFE cats & they are both adapting to the new pellets. The kitten had no problems but older cat had 1 accident, I had to do 70% to 30% ration with the old kite litter & will slowly transition him to the new litter, he is using the tray with no problems now. There is no smell, but the old style litter falls through the tray. Doesn’t affect use however I did change the pad 3 days earlier than recommended until we are back to 100%. Younger cat is very enthusiastic with the cover up so we do end up with litter overflow but easy to sweep up. I’d recommend this product over the old style trays!
I purchased this litter to go with my new Ezi-LockOdour Cat Litter System. The whole exercise was a very expensive flop. The litter is far from low odour. It absolutely stinks. I now have a big box of it I will not be using. Quite upsetting as I thought this tray system sounded great.
I have used the Ezi-Lockodour system for around 6 months and absolutely love it. It is definitely worth the extra cost as it is totally pong free. The pellets work a treat as they don't absorb any urine and despite the recommended 4 weeks time I have found that 6 weeks before changeover for the pellets and 2 weeks for the liners is fine. The liners have a protective waterproof backing and sides that fit the tray snugly and so slide out the tray and slide the liner into your bin. No handling messy trays and the tray remains perfectly dry so simply fit a clean liner, slide the tray into its place and you're good to go again. I love this system and associated products.
Very impressed!!! I live in an apartment which is very cramped, and the litter box has to be very close to the couch. It gets a bit smelly when she's just used it, or when it's close to needing a change but that is to be expected. The system is so effective - I love being able to dispose of the pads (usually every 3-4 days rather than a week since my girl uses the bathroom a lot) and then the pellets every month. Beyond impressed with how effective this system is. The smell is barely noticeable, and my roommates who have had a cat previously say that this is leagues better than any litter they've had. It was an easy transition when I adopted my cat from the shelter to home too, she didn't have any issues using the pellets and is satisfied.
I have always used Oz Litter but started using Ezi Lockodour Pellets this year and the are definitely the best. No smell whatsoever. It is quite expensive but last so much longer. The pads are also expensive but now I don't use them, I just tip the pee down the toilet every day, I did use the pads at first and they are very good and last around 3 days......but as well as the expense I didn't like using for the sake of the environment.
