After realizing our child was starting to refuse to drink his water when we handed him a sippy cup (we tried many different brands and versions) and barely liked using a regular cup when we tried to practice drinking from an open cup except for his tiny cup from ezpz, we decided to try the next size up and purchased the mini cup and straw set as one of his Christmas gifts. He loves using this drinking system and refuses anything else. He doesn't like the lid though, he pops it off and likes to look at the water "disappearing" from his cup. Aside from the lid being too easy for him to take off, we have no issues with the cup since we only allow him to drink liquid when we are monitoring him in the kitchen and don't allow him to "travel" around the home with a drink ... MoreAfter realizing our child was starting to refuse to drink his water when we handed him a sippy cup (we tried many different brands and versions) and barely liked using a regular cup when we tried to practice drinking from an open cup except for his tiny cup from ezpz, we decided to try the next size up and purchased the mini cup and straw set as one of his Christmas gifts. Thank you for recently inventing this additional tool to your incredible arsenal of feeding learning tools for growing little ones and their parents, ezpz!

I wanted to like this cup because it is the perfect size and cute, however I have only been using it for two weeks now and had to throw it away. I hand washed with Dawn dish soap and warm water as I always do each day and left it to dry upside down on drying grass. Next morning, there was a lot of mold on the bottom of the cup and also on the underside of the lid near the straw. I couldn’t not wash it out of the bottom. I washed this cup every day, sometimes twice, and my daughter would only drink water with a very light splash of apple juice in this cup. I have also bought two other Ezpz tiny cups without straws and one of them arrived with lots of scratch marks on the bottom like a knife was in there. At this price point the silicone molding should be smooth. Our little guy just had his first birthday and has been working on straw-cup drinking for a few months. We hadn’t found a cup he could hold by himself or pick up alone. This is the one! Weighted from the bottom it provides stability, small enough to make pick-ups and holding easy, and the little bumps on the straw help guide how far to put the straw into his mouth. For moms, this cups couldn’t be easier to clean! Quick clean of the straw and into the dishwasher on the top rack. Hand washing is also a breeze, since there are only 3 pieces. The quality of this cup is fantastic, sturdy and well made. I can see this being a favorite in our house for quite a while. My only regret is I didn’t purchase sooner…and that I only ordered 1!

I recently purchased the EZPZ Mini Straw Cup + Straw Training System for my child, and it has exceeded my expectations. The cup's compact and functional design makes it easy for little hands to hold, with an attached lid for hygiene and convenience. The included weighted straw has facilitated a smooth transition from sippy cups to straws, gradually building confidence and independence. Additionally, the spill-proof and leak-proof design ensures a mess-free experience, making it perfect for on-the-go use. The product is also easy to clean, as both the cup and straw are dishwasher-safe, and the silicone material resists staining and odors. My daughter refused to hold her own cup until we got this one. She can get a drink more independently compared to an open cup held by me. She's still figuring out how to set it down, she's been laying it on its side so we still have to pick it up before it leaks. If you're looking for a leak proof cup for on the go, this isn't it. However, if you want something to make serving a drink to your toddler more ergonomic and with a normal fast flowing straw, this is a good option.A couple comments after using it a while... You can't quite safely fit 4 fluid ounces in it (at least I can't). I can put the lid on even when the liquid level is above the bottom of the lid. When on its side for a moment, it doesn't seem to leak if the straw is on the upper edge, but if the straw is at the lower edge it will dribble out but it's not a very fast flow so most of the liquid stays in the cup. It's the perfect size for my 14 month old to hold in her small hands, but I do wish it had more capacity because I have to refill it once or twice in a sitting if she's thirsty (or if the drink is yummy to her); I'm giving 4 stars because I wish it held 2-4 more ounces. My kiddo can drink out of this faster than any other vessel we've tried, except maybe for the other silicone cup we have with a similar design. I've tried it with warm and cold drinks, but never hot because I don't want to burn her mouth. It worked well with a thick smoothie that I shared with her.
Got this for my 8-month-old. We had been giving her sips of water from an open cup during meals and wanted to try a straw. It took about 30 seconds for her to learn to use it. I put my finger on the opening to hold in some water, released a drop on her tongue, and then put the straw back in the cup and let her try to figure it out, which she almost immediately did. The cup is small enough that it’s easy to hold it at the right level, doesn’t tip over too easily, and doesn’t spill much even if she tips it over. She doesn’t choke easily the way she does with an open cup, so it has been a great addition to meals. We’ll keep letting her practice with an open cup but this is great, and gives me confidence we’ll be able to transition away from the bottle by 1. Oh—the baby ... MoreGot this for my 8-month-old. Doesn’t make a mess so that’s fine with me.
I took time & thought to search for dishware that would be ergonomic/developmentally appropriate, durable, withstand a new eater manipulating objects with less mess, & made of non toxic materials. I have been over the moon with Ezpz, and find the design of their training cup superior. It is not 100% leak proof when tumbled & thrown around, but only a little water leaks out. I love that it can be an open cup or a straw so I can have fewer cups to store. My baby has had great success with this training cup & straw & I find it easy to clean. It is by far my favorite!
This ezpz mini cup with straw is so cute! I am really excited about how this is helping my daughter learn to drink out of a cup and straw--we are fully skipping the sippy cup stage! It's durable and easy-to-use, and simply the sweetest blush color. The lid stays on and the straw is secure. Additionally, the bottom of the cup is slightly weighted to help it stay upright. I recommend this product for anyone wanting to teach their child to drink from a cup with a straw!
At the green light of our pediatrician, we tried using this straw cup around 5 months old. Our son was not very interested, and we figured he would let us know when he was ready to try again. When he was almost seven months, he took his auntie’s water cup with straw out of her hand and quickly put the straw in his mouth, after watching her drink. The next day we reintroduced the mini cup with the straw, and within about five minutes, he had figured it out! He was so proud of himself. He was gulping water down, and giggling with pleasure. We love this cup so much, and the fact that it will grow with him for years. We also are big fans that it’s not causing any issues with his teeth or language development. We are anticipating using this when the baby turns one or shortly thereafter. We are still using the tiny cup . Then we will transition to the mini cup and finally the mini cup with the straw. All are outstanding products.Thank you Dawn Winkelmann! We appreciate your expertise and your knowledge of proper developmental stages to help our baby learn lip closure , swallowing , and chewing their food . Ezpz is a great site and we are so happy we found it.
