EzyDog Checkmate Collar XLarge / Blue

I bought this dog collar because many people told me great things about them. I have had this dog collar for 3 years now. It looks as good as new. They are very sturdy and range from many different sizes and colours. I would 100% recommend to anyone who is wanting a dog collar that will last forever.

Almost perfect for my needs

I bought two of these collars for a couple of my Huskies. The easy fitting as well as the high quality make them almost perfectly suitable for them. The only exception is that while their ID tags fit nicely in the plastic tab, there is no easy way to attach the local council's plastic registration tag except for the 'D' ring meant for the leash.Otherwise an extremely well made and practical collar that is easier to use then most Martingale style collars.

Best dog collar I have used

I wont use any other kind of collar. These martingale collars by Ezydog are brilliant. I only buy these collars. The last one my dog had for almost seven years. They are extremely strong and durable, never irritate my dog, and easy to put on and take off as long as they are put on the right way so they release again.

Checkmate Collar

I am happy with the collar especially having the clip rather than putting the collar over my dog's head. The only thing that could be improved is the checkmate. I find that I have to pull it really hard and a long way before I see any improvement in my dog's behaviour.

Excellent product!

My GR previously had a martingale collar which in training, he responded to the noise of the chain 'clinks' really nicely. I was looking for an option he'll now respond to that does not intimidate my family members who now also walk him (and so they stop calling it a choker, which it's not and it bugged me). The checkmate is a perfect compromise! The family think he's walking nicely, but I know he's responding to both his training and the lead pressure so it's a less stressful and more enjoyable option for all. Excellent product and highly recommended. :-)

Ezydog have the most durable collars

My GSD is six and still has her first big dog ezycollar but what the heck hey we needed a city collar. The last ezycollar has been swimming most days and endured a lot of hard doggy yakka. Great brand. This is a pic of her first after six years.

Game Changer

I was recommended this collar by my herding breed specific dog trainer. My blue heeler pup loves it going on as it doesn't have to go over the top of her head, and its a realy well made and functional product, highly recommended.

Great Martingale Collar

I like that fact that the collar can stay on my puppy without worrying about him getting got in anything on it. The martingale collars with chains, I am uncofortable with and don't seem to have the same control on corrections as this collar provides.

Royal Canin cat food pouch hairball gravy

Of our two cats, one has hairball problems and one not. They are very fussy eaters and on previous trials of wet foods, would eat the gravy and leave the rest. However they ate all of the sample packages. This would be a good occasional treat, as they dont really like the dry hairball food much. Would prefer it in a tin as pouches are messy.

The Head Strong Scotty

These are the only collars I feel my strong willed Scotties will not back out of. They are tremendously powerful little dogs, prone to sitting down and tugging backwards if they want to go the opposite direction to you. They easily pull their heads out of ordinary collars, but checkmate collars do not allow this once fitted correctly.
