My dog is happy to put this harness on, it doesn't stop her pulling but it is comfortable. Unfortunately she has choked herself a couple of times with the lead by spinning - the lead when attached to the d ring can easily become wrapped around the neck, several times if she spins fast. Also, she escaped it with ease by backing out of it - it came straight over her head. It was on securely, but any dog determined enough can escape this design. If you have a sensible, well behaved dog, then I'm sure it's fine, but you probably wouldn't need a harness for one of those anyway!

This Harness has saved my sanity. It DEFINITELY cuts back on ALOT of the pulling for me. My puppy is very strong and weighs 125 pounds at 7 months old. He’s in adolescent mode. Walking was a nightmare before. Thank you for your clever invention that is so well made and not cheap and flimsy at ALL!!! I looked at other harnesses elsewhere. This harness is easy to fit on around the dog’s chest and, when adjusted properly, the harness fits snugly around the dog’s shoulders with a comfortable chest plate. The best stitched trim is reflective which is an important safety feature if walking after dark. I had the same harness for my last Staffy and did not hesitate to buy the same product for my current four legged friend.

My dog is happy to put this harness on, it doesn't stop her pulling but it is comfortable. The harness is great quality; very sturdy. It's easy to fit and presumably comfortable (my dog has adjusted to wearing it very quickly.)The free seatbelt attachment was a huge disappointment, though. It's designed to slide over a closed seatbelt; that is, the single loop is applied over both the horizontal and diagonal belts at the same time. The strength required by a dog to move the attachment up this angular shape is unrealistic. I have a very broad, medium sized Staffy who looks like a bulldog. He was unable to budge it, and hence was stuck in a lying down position.
We had a smaller size in this harness for 5 years, it is still in excellent condition and we are handing it down to a friend with a smaller dog, only reason we are replacing it is because our dog has grown out of it. Because we have been so happy with the last one, we bought the same harness on a larger size. Easy to put on, comfort plate doesn’t rub and keeps dog safe and secure.
I'm not sure what format of dog it would fit nicely, but it's just not right on my 4 months old labrador puppy. Measured him with 40cm neck and 62 chest, so got a Medium sized one. He hates it and I cannot fault him for it: The adjustment buckle is right in his armpit! The geometry is just not right here for the size of the harness. Not sure if it ever will fit.Shame, since it looked really good otherwise.
This harness is well made and fully adjustable. Once fitted it's super easy on and off. Definitely will last a lifetime for numerous dogs. I bought two, one for a little devil that has managed to slip out of every other harness I've tried. So far so good with this one. I only have two complaints; the straps on the medium are really wide, thick and stiff for dogs weighing only 30 pounds. I couldn't go with the small due to their chest measurement of 23. The chest plate was not what I expected, it's hard. I'm hoping overtime it will conform to the dog thus becoming more comfortable. It described as EVA Foam chest plate molds to chest for a comfortable fit. Foam to me has give to it, still I highly recommend this harness especially for an escape artist!
We have purchased this item a couple of months ago. A couple of days ago the harness broke open while we were walking with our dog at the park. We came to the shop to purchase a new one that day, assuming the harness has just decayed over these past months. After 2 days since we purchased the new harness - it also burst open while we were walking with our dog on the main street with multiple driving cars. My puppy chewed through part of this nylon harness. So now I've got to find something else to purchase. It's also very fiddly to put on a puppy if it's as lively as mine. I found the padded board wasn't flexible enough and it was too big and bulky. This is definitely not worth the money.
had these harnesses for both my dogs, when they required new ones due to wear and tear, I bought a different brand, as they looked so comfortable, however on crossing a main road my pug stopped dead and the whole harness pulled over her head in the middle of the road,.I immediately returned them via my local pets at home store, and have gone back to what I know , these ezydog chest plates are by far the best fit for my 2, they like that they are step in, not overhead, they fit so well, they do not budge, and definitely cannot pull off.lesson learnt and I will never switch to any other type of harness from these, highly recommended
