These are beautiful lightfast markers! I started with 3 and now my collection is 23. I noticed they work a little better on cellouse paper as far as not leaving lines when using water (distilled). Very vibrate colors that you can use with color pencils, pens, etc. Definitely a fan of Faber-castell and bought these along with the watercolor pencils. No regrets! #sweepstakes

I have been waiting on these to become available in the states. As soon as I saw them on Blick I ordered the full set. As far as the swatches go they are very juicy coming out of the marker and there is no smell since they are a watercolor marker. I love Faber Castell products I have Polychromos pencils and the Polychromos watercolor pencils as well. The caps fit tight on them which is a good thing it will keep them from drying out. I'm not sure about shelf life but I am hoping they last awhile. When laying down on paper they are nice and wet and completely rewettable when dry for blending. They are all transparent as well. I look forward to working with these I have not made anything with them yet. I think they are a fun addition to my collection of art supplies. I ... They would be great in mixed media but keep in mind they are rewettable. There are a few brands out there that caught my eye but waited for these to become available to purchase because I know Faber Castell product is a high quality brand.

I have wanted these markers since they came out a couple of years ago. they are vibrant, pigmented, and most importantly lightfast. The colors rewet well for blending with a wet brush. I find the bullet tips to be a bit darker than the brush tips but other than that they are darn near perfect. They are very similar to the Winsor & Newton watercolor markers. I prefer these to the W&N markers though, because they seem juicer and the cap design is better. The caps are easier to remove and you don't risk damaging the nibs as you do with the W&N marker caps. My only complaint is that they don't disclose pigment info.

I bought the marker for a Michaels class I intend to take. They are exactly what I expected. I’ve played with them some and they have a nice coverage and write smoothly. Hopefully after the class I’ll have more information to provide.

Love these pens, they are one of my go-to's. They are vibrant but don't bleed through even thin paper. My only "complaint" is they tend to make my Pigma Micron pens bleed.
I really like Faber Castell products and appreciate the lightfast ratings for each color. After creating some artwork with the markers, I decided this isn’t really a medium I want to use on its own. However, the markers are good quality. I expect to use the markers in some mixed media works. Another major brand of watercolor markers provides pigment information for each marker - so if that’s important to you, do some research.

I like trying new mediums. I typically do not like markers because I thought you couldn't blend them. How wrong I was. After seeing rave reviews on YouTube I bought a 30-marker set and tried them out on hot press watercolor paper myself. I'm impressed with the pigment strength and ability to blend them. What a fantastic alternative to traditional watercolor media.

Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Watercolour Marker 153 Cobalt Turquoise
Albrecht Dürer Watercolor Markers contain water-based ink with high pigmentation and lightfastness. They feature two nibs, a brush nib and a 1-2mm bullet tip to offer flexibility. The brush nib allows various strokes of thickness, and the bullet tip is perfect for sharp fine lines and detailed work. With a rollaway stop-cap, the watercolor markers are the perfect companion for on-the-go art. A great amount of color range can be achieved – the amount of water you apply decides the degree of lightening, while darker colors come from adding black or grey, and also the respective complementary color.
