Fabriano Artistico Watercolour Blocks are mould made, produced with 100% cotton. The paper used is chlorine, acid-free and archival. Fabriano Artistico Watercolour Blocks are sized both internally and externally, making it very absorbent for wet media such as watercolour, tempera, gouache and inks. Fabriano Artistico Watercolour Blocks can also be used for dry media such as pastels, charcoal and even printmaking techniques. Fabriano Artistico Watercolour Blocks are different to watercolour pads in that they are made up of multiple sheets of watercolour paper. Glued on all four sides within the block they allow the user to paint directly on the block without the need for stretching or taping the paper beforehand. Whilst in the block the paper will also not buckle. Once your artwork is completed and dry, take a metal palette knife or scalpel to carefully prize open releasing the paper from the block.
