Great gloves! I had a pair of cheap pro force gloves and these are way better! Much more compact profile and they are flexible so you can clinch. The material and wrist support is also superior. If you are a beginner like me and are using a cheap pair of gloves, I would recommend these as an upgrade. I got the 14oz in black and use them for pads and bag work. Will probably get another pair of 16oz gloves that are more heavily padded for sparring.

Transitioning from cheaper gloves, Fairtex clearly is a step above others.Though the padding is less, compared to other competitors, the Fairtex BVG1 is snug around the hand and allows a good feel with contact when doing bag and pad work.I would be mindful purchasing these for sparring gloves, even in the 16oz due to the firm padding, but overall highly recommend the Fairtex BVG1.Fight gear was fast processing and shipping also.

Have small hands, gloves are a bit roomy. Got these because cheap gloves don't last and these are the cheapest leather gloves on the market, they should last a while. Padding is kind of hard so probably not suitable for sparring. Gloves are very smooth and feel nice.

The gloves so far are great. They feel great on my hands while training and hitting the heavy bag. I purchased the 10oz gloves as I prefer smaller 8oz and 10oz gloves to train. Great for pads or the heavy back to offer hand protection yet soft enough while still offering protection for partner drills and light sparring.
These gloves are a huge upgrade from the boxing gloves I started with. The padding is denser, and the covering is durable. I have no doubt these will last me a while. The grip bar is in the perfect place for me, and the mesh keeps my hand cool, dry, and comfortable. Love these gloves!
Quality materials and workmanship - no issues there. My hands are larger than average, but not huge, and the 18oz gloves are slightly tight which is probably how they're supposed to fit. Once they're on you're not going to be able to open a water bottle or anything, so be aware of that. The velcro is very secure. The glove is a little "taller" on the striking surface from the top of the fist to the bottom than I would like it to be as there is "extra" glove that overhangs the index finger and pinky fingers. Overall, the materials are great but it's a $100 pair of gloves and I think you could be better served getting two or three lesser priced pairs of gloves and trying them out. Really enjoy the BGV1 gloves that I purchased - I’ve tried many different brands of MT gloves and I can honestly say that these are some of the best. Quality is fantastic, they look awesome lol, and the superb padding is what really stands out for me. You will not feel a thing in these if you throw your punches correctly - it’s really amazing!
