Cooked a roast lamb in it and it was so tender that the meat fell of the bone. Easy to wash and look after.

I just started my sourdough bread journey🤩. Most of the blogs I’d read advised using a cast iron Dutch oven, or a lidded enamel cooler. Cast iron is getting a bit heavy for my arthritic hands so I bought this dish. I’m really pleased with the results I have achieved plus it’s light and easy to look after - a quick wipe out and it’s done. Perfect for my bread, and maybe in the future, for other things. Best Oven Dish Ever

I've used this about 4 times since I got it - it's brilliant. My favourite roasting pan. Saves having to clean the oven and doesn't compromise on quality of the roast. I've turned out the most perfect roast chooks and beef, but I need to fiddle with my pork a little to get the crackle just right.The handles are perfectly positioned so that you don't have to scrape your knuckles along the wall of the oven or twist your arms into ridiculous contortions deep inside the oven.

Enamel Roaster

As we become older and at times with physical ailments such as arthritis or even with muscle weakness, I have found this enamel roaster most useful to bake all sorts of recipes in rather than using a heavy iron-based dutch oven or similar item. With the ingredients such as a turkey or other meat etc, added into the enamel roaster it then is just at the correct weight to manage, whether it be lifted in and out of the oven or, if required, on the cooktop such as making gravy with the meat and vegetable juices from the just-cooked roast. I also like the dimples feature inside the lid which makes it self-basting. At times I have also inverted the lid and used this as a cooking vessel in the oven as well. I now give the white enamel large roaster, at 36-38 cm in length, for the younger generation as a traditional wedding gift from me.....an investment item that will last for years if looked after properly as per manufacturer instructions!

Very well received. The eldest daughter already has one and now that No 2 has finished Uni and moved away she has one. They take the joint of fowl and all the vegs, plenty of room. It facilitated a baked ham on Boxing day. Should last them a life time.

Lightweight and handles higher temperatures

Being older and with arthritis, I have found this item most useful to bake my sourdough bread in rather than using a heavy iron based dutch oven. Other lightweight items I have tried have not handled the higher temperatures required to bake bread. The enamel roaster is also easy to clean.

Old school cookware

Turns out all of nanas cook ware was best. This is so nostalgic for me I cannot wait to purchase it and try. The older ways are the best ways and much healthier too

I find this roaster to be clean and well made, plus having its own raised lid which will allow a large roast plus no splatter keeping the oven nice and clean.Yes i am pleased with this roaster.
