We bought this cooker 4 months ago to replace an old Italian one that simply wasn’t any good. The Falcon is solid, beautifully engineered and beautiful to look at. And it works like a charm. We particularly like the ability to divide the oven space in two to save electricity, and using the left hand side as a warmer is a very nice bonus. The oven is easy to use, with just the right range of features and the cooktop is a dream. Finally, the pyrolytic function is heaven-sent!

We recently updated our kitchen and this included changing our oven. We had a separate oven and hotplates but decided to go with a 900mm oven and hotplate combo so started our search. I hadn't heard of the Flacon brand before but when I started comparing the different models and read other testimonials I decided that the Falcon was the one to go with - and I do not regret that decision one little bit. The gas elements cook evenly and are great to get good heat control - I left a pasta sauce cooking accidentally the other night and when I remembered at 3am I raced to the kitchen to turn it off. On my old hotplates the sauce would have burnt but on these hotplates the sauce was perfectly fine. The option of dual oven is a novel feature but I need to get smaller cooking trays as all mine were for a bigger oven. I'll then be able to cook for two in there. No problem using the bigger size though, I tend to use up the space. Everything cooks evenly, very quiet to use, All features are easy to understand and use. The very best feature is the teppanyaki plate, with out a doubt this is used every day. Steaks, kebabs, sausages, chicken, fish, bacon and eggs, pancakes, the possibilities are endless. I LOVE it. Very easy to keep clean, just wipe over. I have used to Wok burner on many occasions. Love the black enamel cooktop, classy and stylish. Highly recommend if you are in the market for a quality appliance.

We waited 4 months for ours to be delivered (due to Covid-19 and for no other reason) and I'm I did.It's a solid, exceptionally well built and beautiful piece of engineering. The quality of the build and components is obvious from the moment your unpack and move it into place, to when you actually cook with it. I'm unsure if it's just 'me', but even the gas from the cooktop seems to cook better...its a much more even and solid flow that when cooking you seem to have more control over the heat and therefore, the food.The oven is fantastic to use and I've only been experimenting for the last 4 days. We love our new oven and cook top. Was disappointed in the range hood in that when the electrician fitted it, the flue did not reach the ceiling. On contacting Falcon we were told we would have to purchase a new piece at the cost of $300!!!! there was no refund on the existing piece and no apology. Also, at no stage did Harvey Norman sales team or Falcon suggest the standard Rangehood may not be suitable for all ceiling heights.(our ceilings are normal height btw). We then had to pay not only for the replacement piece, but also had to pay another call out and work hours to the electrician to come back and install the new flue. Not a good outcome. This has left us disappointed in the service and unhappy with the price and reluctant to recommend.

I wanted a similar oven to my previous one, but the Falcon FXP 90cm has the added feature of the Energy Saving Panel, which I keep in my oven permanently, since I don't need to utilise the whole oven when cooking for a family of 4. It also means less cleaning!Initially, I was not used to the cooktop layout, but now find it very practical with the wok burner on the right instead of the centre. My partner and I bought this cooker 8 months ago replacing a really bad gas oven and cook top from Glem.Initially we were a little apprehensive about spending this much on a cooker but after having used it for a good 8 months now we are in love with it. Things come out of the oven evenly cooked, it's quite, the door seals extremely well and the front is cool to touch.One of the main reasons we purchased this oven was because we have a 1 year old and our original ovens door sealed so poorly that the heat would come out and heat up the entire front of the oven to the point where it would burn you instantly if you touched it. The door seals perfectly, very firmly and the little one cannot open the door. The front of the oven is cool to the touch even after having been on for upwards of 5 hours.The gas cook top is a pleasure to use. The igniter lights the gas instantly and we haven't got any issues with flames flickering on and off with using large pans (unlike our previous one).One of the features we didn't know the cooker had was that it will shut off the gas if there is no flame on the cook top which is something we didn't find out till after purchase. This is amazing as we have come into the kitchen to find the gas knobs turned on by the little one but no gas coming out which is an amazing safety feature.It came with plenty of accessories and large hot plate has been great to use, we haven't used our BBQ since.The colour is beautiful and the finish it top notch.The only issue we had was our space in the kitchen was just too small. The cooker is sold as a 90cm cooker and you need more of a 905-910mm space to fit the cooker in. We had to get the stone bench top trimmed down which was around $500.We have recommended it to our friends and it is well worth the extra you would pay over and cooker you would get from a local store.I would want to take the oven with me if we ever sold our house but i feel that may be a little weird lol.
Absolutely love my new Cooker. It looks fabulous in our kitchen. It has performed above my expectations. I especially love the hot plate and wok attachments.I have only had it installed for a week now, but have definitely used most of its features so far and have been so happy with the results. Would highly recommend this Range Cooker
