Like all cats, our orange guys are picky. They only like tuna-based wet food, and really only lick the “gravy” or broth. They won’t eat any of the fancy organic or grain-free stuff, but The Florentine Collection has been a hit for years. We split a can of the tuna-flavor (or other tuna wet food) between their bowls in the morning, along with a cup of dry Indoor formula MeowMix. In the afternoon, they each get a palmful of Temptations treats (again, they won’t eat the fancy brands). And at night, my partner hand feeds 2 oz of flaked tuna (“in water”/“its own juices”) to our little guy, while the big guy licks a few mLs of the tuna juice from a bowl.

My cat's absolutely love this food, and they are kind of picky. It's actually really easy to feed them this food because it doesn't smell like vomit and poo like most other wet cat foods do. I can actually see and identify what is in it. It most of the time just smells like chicken noodle soup to me.

The manufacturer changed the packaging on my cat’s fav food. Now I can’t tell which box to buy in the store. It’s so much easier to order online and choose the picture with old packaging but it is delivered it’s the new packaging. So helpful as I bought the wrong box many times now in store and my cat would not eat it.

I've always chalked it up to them not being hungry but more recently I've taken a closer look at their food and... some of the meat is green! Now I know that animal food isn't typically up to the same quality of food that humans eat but this is absolutely insane to think that the meat in this food is actually so bad that it's beginning to turn green. This isn't just one can either. Almost every can that I've opened in the last few weeks - shredded meat, primavera, tuscany... all of them have pieces of meat that is turning green inside. Also I'm not sure if this was always the quality of this food, but it certainly is consistent with the quality of the food that I have been getting for the last few weeks.
My cat absolutely adores these Fancy Feast Medleys Florentine Collection wet cat foods! I think they are the perfect portion size for her to finish in one feeding as she finished everything at once. I love the variety pack that includes all of the delicious available flavors, which makes every mealtime fun and keeps things interesting for her! These Fancy Feast Florentine Collection Medleys are always top quality, easy for my older cat to chew and also mixes very well if you choose to mix it into dry cat food. This wet canned food has definitely become my picky cat's new favorite! I highly recommend it!
My kitties absolutely love this! I used Friskies variety gravy and they refuse to touch the beef cans. Then I used Fancy Feast grilled/gravy and they seemed to like it somewhat better. But the Medleys, shedded fare collection (the purple banner) hit the jackpot! They love this stuff!
Finding a canned cat food that all of my cats will eat is challenging. My cats love this food. They never cared for regular chicken so I wasn't too sure how they would take to this one. I am thrilled to have found a chicken cat food they will eat. You can see the pieces of cheese in this. This has become one of their favorite foods. I need to make sure I always have this stocked. This is also diabetic friendly which is something I need, having a diabetic cat. I am thrilled to have this option for my cats and I know they are thrilled to have it as well.
My cats “crappy” treat. When my older cat doesn’t feel like eating I know he will at least lick the sauce off of it. They all know and get excited when they get ”Cami crappy chicky chicky”. I would never feed this as a regular diet- give it quality nutrients. But they love it- of course they do- because it’s junk. Occasionally why not? The problem is it seems to be disappearing off of shells and not in a good way. Then what junk food do I get them??;)
Once you give your cat this food forget getting it to eat anything else! I have a shelter cat who from his appearance had only poor quality dry food. I gave him both canned and dry food and he has really changed - soft thick coat and because he was so starved previously started getting fat! I have to measure out his dry food to help him control his eating. When he first tried canned food (which is recommended because cats do not get enough water) he would eat anything, but once he had the fancy feast - and it must be with gravy or florentine sauce because now he is spoiled! The Medleys florentine is his favorite and when I have been in the store other customers have said the same thing, that their cat will not eat anything else!
At first glance at ingredients, don't like that it has GMO cornstarch, artificial flavor (made in a lab), and added color (what is it and why should it be added?). Wish we and our animals could eat all natural food--we'd all be a lot healthier. My cats do find it very tasty, though.
