This is the second time I purchased the Whirly Squiqz spinners. My previous purchase was for my then 4 year old niece who has a terminal disease. She loved playing with them and making and watching them spin. She will be 6 soon but is now blind (caused by the disease) so can no longer spin them on her own but if someone spins them she likes to hear the noise they make. Her 12 month old sister also loves playing with them and can easily spin them on her own. My latest purchase is for another niece who is autistic. I have yet to give them to her but she has played with them before and also loves them. In fact, it was her grandmother who asked if I could get them for her for her birthday. They are a great product. Simple in design but safe and fun entertainment.

Our 7 month old granddaughter played with them for 20 minutes straight through. I was hoping she would enjoy them because she is always watching the ceiling fans with curiosity. She watched us spin them and she would stop them with her hand and smile. She would make eye contact with us to spin it again and continue the game. She let out happy squeals and smiles! It was so much fun. I can't wait to play with her using them again. I also have peace of mind knowing the toy was made with safe food grade silicone, she can mouth away. Thank you for the fun!

I ordered Whirly Squigz for my 3 month old grandson and he loves them. I had ordered the same gift for my 18 month old granddaughter when she was about six months old. Not only did she love spinning them on the wood floor then, but now she plays with them in her bathtub. These are a great gift and last a long time as a fun toy.

The Whirly Squigz are great for so many settings - highchair, window on an airplane or in the car, on a mirror at home or any other surface where they can be suctioned. Babies loved watching the movement and bright colors while older siblings love to see how fast they can spin them. Can provide easy fun when needing to occupy kids!
Like I said earlier, they are well made and spin easily. The colors are attractive. My son likes to spin them on his high chair tray. He also loves to chew on them. They are easy to clean and the suction is great.
Such a fun toy. I bought this as a gift for our rehab department to use in therapy sessions. I even found a way to use it with teens: the goal is to do a certain amount of reps or hold a pose (unilateral stance, yoga pose) until the spinning stops, run an obstacle course spinning one of the squigz at each station. So I can work on speed, agility or stability in a fun way. Only down side is I can't get it to stick to multiple surfaces, like a wall. It works great on mirrors and flat horizontal surfaces but not great to our rehab wall and maybe that is a texture thing. It did stick to my forehead for a good 15 seconds which was fun. Overall we love it!
All three of the Whirly Squigz toys spin for longer than I would have expected. That is, until our 6-month old granddaughter slaps her hand down to stop them and then looks up at us for approval (we clap each time). When done with the spinning, she pries the suction cup loose and, of course, they go straight to her mouth for a bit of gumming. The bright color and long spinning action capture her attention every time. Soon we hope she'll coordinate her own movements to keep them spinning on her own. These are soft silicone with a hard plastic center (the spindle) and, except for teeth, will last a long time.
