an easy product to use and gave a fantastic result on the wood. It brought out the grain and added a slight sheen though not a high gloss which is what I wanted.It does smell and needs to be buffed off fairly quickly but even when the final coat was a bit sticky, a bit of extra polishing brought it up to a lovely final result.

Don't recommend, works like an oil but hardens like polyurethane. Unless you have an absolutely dust free environment, dust just gets lodged in the finish leading to a rough surface. Quite unforgiving as you can't just wipe it off like traditional oil after. Finish runs thin and doesn't cover blemishes or fine dust particles as well. Wiped on with cloth but fine fabic gets logdged. Finishing in a thin layer and gloss finish makes finish looks worse under the hand and glancing light.

Do not buy this product if you are looking for a traditional oiled finish. If you read the fine-print on the back of the can you will discover, that despite being sold as 'Premium Danish Oil' it in fact contains polyurethane resin. I had no idea.I've been restoring an antique farmhouse table. After two coats of this stuff it now looks and feels like it's been sealed with a cheap polyurethane varnish. If I'd wanted a polyurethane varnish that is what I would have bought. Danish Oil should not contain polyurethane resin.
