These large loopers are fantastic for heavy work. I used them to coppice large diameter three-year-old elite short rotation coppice willows. They are the best loppers I’ve ever used
Good heavy duty tool.A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Of course the big advantage with felco is the ability to replace worn out parts easily.
There are a number of other quality shears out there, but good handles make the difference! These handles are solid not tubular, they are a bit heavier, but will not flex, bend or break under any circumstances. The jaws are sharp and hold their edge exceptionally well. If for some unforseen reason you damage the jaws, you can easily replace them. The best shears I've ever used. Truly a once in a lifetime purchase.
I don't have to pull these bad boys out often - which is just as fine cause they're pretty heavy - but I know when I do pull these out that whatever I'm going to use them on is going to get lopped off easily! They're extremely well made and to me seem like they're worth the high cost if you're in the market for heavy duty loppers. They're usually overkill for my homeowner usage but luckily I'll know I'll never have to buy another heavy duty lopper...could probably pass these on to my kids if I wanted to! Haha.

The Felco loppers are very solidly built - with aluminum handles and a good heft. Everything about it says it is a quality product. I've used it about 5 or 6 times since I bought it and it is able to cut through 1" branches with no problems at all. I've even been able to cut through 1.5" branches with a bit of effort. I like the way they are balanced - all in all a good product that is probably going to give me years of service.
Swiss made spectacular! Can’t beat it! Will last a lifetime! I hate having to buy poorly made things over and over. I will only buy Swiss Felco from now on. I have purchased all sizes and all excellent!
