I have been using Feliway intermittently over the years, and spoiler - Feliway is an excellent product! I like the plug in version, because this way, I can have it going at all times, to help my little cat stay calm, while the the spray version is better for use when you're travelling, either spraying the carrier, or spraying the room that they're in. I have 1 almost 3 year old female rescue cat who is by nature a very content and happy cat.Around the time I got the diffuser we had new neighbours move in next door, who had several cats, 3 of which were kittens, who all decided they liked visiting us regularly, especially one of the little females, who I am possibly considering adopting myself. But.. unfortunately, my girl, Diva wasn't overly impressed at first, as she was not used to sharing her space. I love my baby and was heartbroken but the little female is just soooooo cute I persisted in nurturing their friendship. My indoor cat has struggled with me returning to work and so I started using Feliway. It has only been a few days so I am not sure if it working or not. However, my Vet swears by it so I trust them. I am hoping to see a calmer cat when I get home from work next week!I can say that setting it up is very simple and easy to do, however, the information on not touching the device directly and use gloves when doing so, was almost missed as not up and front. I watched a video on setting it up and no gloves were visible. So remember to wear gloves so as to not interfere with the product.Disclaimer: I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

We've moved thrice in 2 years and our kitten (now cat) had been understandably stressed out for the first few weeks after each move. She'd stay in her crate (which she usually despises by the way) instead of being her usual curious self. We have five cats, the initial one, Balencia was adopted from a shelter and the other four are strays which we have opened our home to.Balencia is very territorial and lets the other cats know what she is the boss - she eats first and decides when they can start eating.Since using the Feliway diffuser she has seemed to have calmed down quite a bit. She no longer hisses at the other cats and they are able to share food and eat at the same time as her!I wasn't sure how the product would work but it definitely does. I hope they resolve this issue as the product is extremely expensive, especially if you're using it on the constant basis. We recently moved interstate into a new house and have also had a lot of visitors. Usually, she spends most of her days hiding in the closet or under a bed but since turning this on, I have noticed her out and about the home more frequently. She has even approached some visitors, asking for pats...which is unheard of! This has definitely helped with her anxiety and she just seems like a generally happier cat. The only thing though, is that I have a really sensitive nose, and I find it a bit smelly. I was especially surprised at her attitude to my next youngest as they were best of friends and inseparable until a few months ago.
