After looking at many binding options to consolidate equipment manuals and handbooks, the Fellowes Pulsar 300 seemed to be the best option for our small business. Adorama's website offered this at a competitive price point and shipped it much faster than I expected. The binder is extremely easy to use and the booklets look great. Would recommend this product to anybody looking for a high quality binder at a price point that won't break the bank.

I love my new binder! It's very sturdy and easy to use. I can easily punch several more pages at a time than my old binder and much less hassle with the binding part of it as well. I'm glad that I made the investment in this machine - a great time saver and a professional looking finished product for my clients!

This is at least the third shredder Ive bought of various brands. This is the most expensive and is so new I hardly know how to rate it on most items. In the short time Ive had it, it certainly has shredded everything Ive thrown at it. Its intelligent enough to tell you when youve given it too much which should go far in making it jam proof. Its touchy safety feature seems to make it a little slower than the Ativa it replaced to grab onto the load and grind it up. How much do we really need to interfere with Darwin on some of this stuff But I have one major gripe with this shredder that is the same as with the others You might as well haul out the vacuum cleaner when you empty the bin because youre going to have a mess. I am searching for a replacement for this model. Purchased this 4 years ago and the first 6 months lived up to its claims. Then things started going wrong. First and most important is the machine is TOP HEAVY and will easily tip over. The wheels are cheap and loud but not the reason the machine tips over. I used a flatbed to move it around the offices. Second, the jam feature stopped working almost as soon as the machine got brokenin. Employees are not known for following directions so the overstuffed paper jam was a major reason to purchase but that feature was first to go bad. Third. The machine overheated all the time. The 20 minute to 40 minute is more like 10 minutes to 90 minutes. The Fellowes 99Ci arrived 3 days after I ordered it through Amazon. It had great reviews, but it was a little over my budget. Because I have owned at least 4 shredders in the past, which never lasted more than a year, it was time to bite the bullet and find a good one. I am not disappointed This shredder surpasses all my expectations and was well worth the money. It was a little taller than I expected but it fits perfectly next to my desk. It is super quiet, the design is one you want to show off and the bells and whistles are outstanding. I know if Im putting in too many pages by the indicator light and it shows when the basket is getting full. It will even shred small paper clips and staples I just love this shredder and would recommend it to anyone.
In my garage there were 7 file boxes containing health insurance records many with my social security number for everyone to see, credit card statements, bank statements and payment records from my employer again with my social security number on them. These records dated back to 2003 and for 15 years Ive been dreading disposing of them and unwilling to pay the outrageous price to have a contractor shred them. In one weeks time working about 1 hour a day I was able to shred all these documents. I no longer keep paper documents only secure files on the cloud. My shredding requirements going forward will be minimal and the 99CI Jam Proof Shredder will handle the work load just fine.
After 3 previous shredders that started with a small basket, two others that were store branded, Im done with cutting heads that give up and you cant get any parts for them, the motors smoke, just not beefy. This is why I bought the 99CI. First, the cutters are lifetime warranteed. Second, even if the motor quits, you can buy genuine OEM motors on eBay. Im an engineer and the 99CI is built tough.
The binding machine our company was utilizing was a bit antiquated. Very loud and cumbersome. This Fellows Pulsar E 300 machine is smaller and much quieter, but very efficient at handling all of our binding projects. Also beat Amazon's price!
This is my second Fellowes Pulsar E 300 and I am very pleased with it.I even prefer this version of the model over the other one I had. I had another Pulsar E 300 (lighter coloring instead of dark/grey black inside) and it had a wheel you turned to make adjustments for binding different size items. It was hard to get it every item exactly right if you changed the setting back and forth.This one has a nice switch so it takes the guesswork out of it. You can easily switch from a cover to a letter size and back without any problems and all of your bindings will be the same. It does seem to leave behind more of a rough edge when I use it on thicker solid plastic covers, but it is easy to just cut off the edge when you take it out.Overall great product, highly recommend.
We purchased the Pulsarâ„¢ E 300 Electric Comb Binding Machine w/Starter Kit, to bind our handbooks and small classroom projects to give them a more professional look. It is very easy to use once you learn how to properly insert the combs and make sure the papers are placed correctly for punching. I usually don't punch more than 10-15 sheets at once just to make sure they align properly. Once you position the papers to punch, all you have to do is push the button to punch them, no manual punching needed. One of the reasons I chose to go with this binding machine. This machine has worked well for us.
