AWESOME PICK

GREAT PICK!!! They impart a lively tone to the string and they glide over the string very smoothly. Harmonics are easy to do with the material in these picks!I carry all the colors so I can quickly identify which ones are fresher from the ones I have worn down. I use the medium gauge which because of the premium celluloid material in these picks makes them very fast like a hard pick, but yet supple like a soft pick. You get a great edgey tone as the pick wears on the edges when you need it. I can't say enough good things about this pick, they don't call it Premium Celluloid for nothing, Fender KNOWS what they are doing cause they have been doing it for along time! It's not just a pretty pick, it's an AWESOME tool fer yer guitar picking!!!

These picks are a little slippery to hold, but not so much that I'm dropping them all the time. I was using a Dunlop signature select without knowing it and when I went to go replace them I thought they were too much, so I grabbed these because I liked the way they looked, but I really like the way they play too, I never have a moment where I feel like they get "caught" on the strings, it's so smooth that it's a step away from playing air guitar. I like em, and they're a good value for the price for how many you get (esp if you loose picks a lot)

Fender's 351 Shape Wavelength Picks are great for the price. This 6-pack of extra heavy tortoise shell picks provides excellent control and the perfect balance of rigidity and flexibility. The texture and organic feels fantastic on fingers, and they maintain impressive durability even with heavy use. Prefect for practicing, recording, or performing etc. Highly recommended for anyone.

Great Celuloid Pick

A classic celuloid pick. Virtually identical to the one manufactured in 1980. Did side by side comparison. This is the one to get for the best classic celuloid pick on the market.

Great Grip

I really like this pick. It has wave shaped grooves to help keep it in your hand, and it works. The material this pick is made of gives good tone and definition when chording or single picking. Always liked Fender picks since I was a teenager 50 years ago.

My new favorite picks.
8 May 2019

I prefer the sound of celluloid picks, and this is the only celluloid pick that I am aware of that has an enhanced gripping area. That combination makes these picks unique. I also prefer thin picks, which sometimes tend cup a little bit. To flatten them out, I warm them up with a heat gun for a few seconds until they just start to get soft (hot water would probably work too) and then quickly press them in between two little flat pieces of wood until they cool (maybe 10 seconds). After that they're good as new.

No Contest

I've tried all sorts of picks over the course of my career, and I continue to come back to these. I haven't found anything so comfortable, functional, and good sounding as these guitar picks. Everyone else seems to rant and rave about the Dunlop Tortex's, which are great too, but in my honest opinion, these are way better. The material of the Dunlops are very slippery, and the bend isn't very smooth. These Fenders, however, rarely get dropped, and the tone that they create is absolutely wonderful!! Definitely a high recommendation from me.

These are slightly thicker than the no-brand thin picks but not overly thick. Just right. Smooth cut. Good picks.

The best pick for electric guitar.
22 January 2019

I started out using Fender celluloid picks almost 3 decades ago. I have tried every kind of pick one can imagine, the usual suspects from other brands all the way to new-age $35-dollar-each fad picks to real tortoiseshell picks. For electric guitar, I always come back to good ol' Fender Heavys. Can't beat them for tone and value. My one complaint is that I burn through them super quick. With the amount I play one pick only lasts me about a week before it starts getting all chewed up and rough against the strings. I just chuck it and start with a fresh one at that point. The tone and feel is worth it though and they're cheap so it is easy to stock up. Maybe not for everyone, delrin and other materials definitely last longer but to my ears they have nowhere near the ... MoreI started out using Fender celluloid picks almost 3 decades ago.
