Playing guitar since 1966 I have used these for years. I have tried other picks but prefer the Fender thin 351 standard picks. I know lots of people prefer medium or heavy picks, but I can get a lighter, softer touch with the thin picks. They give me the best tone for smooth strumming. Other picks just don't give me the tone I enjoy. The only down side is that they are easy to drop. A little Gorilla Snot cures that problem. Picks with a rougher surface are easier to grip, so I don't drop them, but I can't get the smooth light strum tone with other picks.

Have you been a member of the pick of the month club? Me too! I've tried many different brands and types of picks. Some good some not so good. Some that I wasn't sure if it really was a pick at all. I started using Fender Mediums a long time ago. I drifted from pick to pick for years and tried friends recommendations, internet discussions, etc. The other day I grabbed a Fender Medium and it was like an old friend you hadn't seen in a long time. I guess I just forgot how well these worked for my style of playing.

I'm a beginner. I bought the Squier Affinity box pack that came with three of these picks in medium size. The first one broke within the first 48 hours. The other two had noticeable wear and abrasions after a week. I've since moved on to Dunlop picks, and those seem to be much more durable.

These are my standard picks for all my shows where I am playing acoustic and lead guitar. They have a great tone and feel.
I'm a little biased as I've been using fender picks since I first starting playing 25 (holy cow) years ago. My comments are for the medium picks. I've tried lots of others but I've found that overall the fender's have the nicest tone and overall feel. Some of the harder style picks are too "clicky" and the fender's plastic eliminates that sound. They do wear down, but overall it's slow and I find myself still using a pick that I could probably throw away. The thins I don't like as much as they are too flexible, and can break. The heavy picks are well...too heavy. Overall I think the medium is the best pick for players I've used so far.
Overall:Been using finder picks.before there was fender picks..you say how the hell did that happen.well let me explain I haven't used anything else in all my professional years of playing hands down they make the best finger pick..✌️out..much love.D
I always buy these celluloid confetti guitar picks because they are very durable. I purchase the thin profile for my Fender American Standard Jazz Bass. They perform well for funky bass lines, and don't break when I throw down on my bass. I also use these picks for my Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro Electric Guitar, and they perform well playing any type of music, from rhythmic country ballads to screaming hard rock. I'd like to add that I purchase 95% of my guitars, picks, and accessories from Guitar Center. Online for the small stuff, so I don't have to run to my local Guitar Center in Waco, TX, just for picks, strings, etc. For Guitars, amps, and any "Big" stuff, I go to my local Guitar Center store, where these folks know their stuff.
I went on a two year spree of trying different guitar picks from all over the world. I found some really great ones and some really awful ones. It seems however, that the Fender Thin, Medium & Heavy are still the best guitar picks in the world. It's sad that their priced so high now. I remember when you could buy twelve picks for a won. Then one day it was eight picks for a won. Either way, it's worth it to have these great picks. The new colors are nice to but I like the older classic colors. I think they feel and play the best. Hope the next generation at Fender doesn't goof it all up!!!
I always used thin picks. No reason that's just what i started with. I have one guitar i could never get the sound i really wanted. I even replaced all the controls short of the Pups which helped but something was still missing. I accidentally dropped my thin pick and reached into my collection. Happened to get a Fender medium and the guitar came to life. I could not believe the difference. Much better sustain and better tone all around. Just from a different pick.
I have been using the Fender medium style guitar pick forever. I guess in the beginning, we were all experimenting with picks and fingers developing our sounds and I decided on the Fender Medium. It wasn't harsh like a thick pick, like grab your string and yank it off your guitar thick. And not to floppy like a thin. This particular model I like because if you drop your pick while you're playing, it is pretty easy to see on the floor.
