Session guitar legend Michael Landau has left his mark on hundreds of recordings since the early 1980s, establishing himself as one of the most sought-after players in the industry. Beyond his extensive session work, Landau has led several acclaimed bands including the Raging Honkies, Burning Water, and his recent collaboration Renegade Creation alongside Robben Ford. His own group continues to push boundaries across electric jazz, instrumental, and rock guitar territories. This meticulously crafted instrument features a hand-selected lightweight alder body paired with a distinctive "custom oval" neck profile for optimal playability. The guitar showcases custom hand-wound pickups with specialised wiring, finished in either worn Black or Bleached 3-Colour Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer. Additional appointments include a round-laminated dark rosewood fingerboard with 7.25" radius and 6105 frets, complemented by the period-correct large headstock design. The instrument is equipped with five-way pickup switching and a custom vintage-style tremolo bridge, ensuring authentic vintage performance and tone that captures the essence of Landau's legendary sound.
