The alder body is treated with a Relic lacquer finish to recreate years of playing wear. A quartersawn maple neck with 1950 Blackguard “U” profile yields a chunky baseball bat feel coveted by discerning players, while jumbo frets adorn the 9.5”-radius fingerboard. An eight-hole single-ply black phenolic pickguard is outfitted with a Fullerton-style aluminum control plate, with knurled chrome volume and tone knobs, five-way switch and vintage modified #2 wiring with tone-saver bleed.
